I would give this 3½ stars. I usually use the 8oz tube of CeraVe cream for my hands, even though it's kinda big it's just my favorite like a million stars product. I use something heavier at night but my hands get so dry and can get eczema and they're dryer than usual due to hand washing/hand sanitizer but no eczema or cracking thanks to this cream. I couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to try the much more expensive, $11.99 for 3oz, hand cream when I saw it at Ulta. I usually love CeraVe products with very few exceptions, but this is unfortunately one of the exceptions. This has all the same ingredients I like from CeraVe; ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. But unlike the cream, this is really watery. It's not as hydrating, and I don't like the film like residue from the dimethicone. Found my regular tube back in stock and happy to go back to it. I'll probably give this to my mom who usually loves any moisturizer or hand cream I give her.

It absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling soft and hydrated. One of the things I love most about this hand cream is that it contains ceramides, which are a type of lipid that helps to strengthen and repair the skin's barrier. In addition to ceramides, the cream also contains hyaluronic acid and glycerin, which are both great for hydration. And it's free of fragrances and parabens, which can be harsh and irritating for sensitive skin. I've been using this cream for a few weeks now, and I've noticed a huge improvement in the overall condition of my hands. They're less dry, less cracked, and less irritated. And even on days when I don't apply the cream, my hands still feel softer and smoother than they did before. Overall, I couldn't be happier with CeraVe Reparative Hand Cream. It's a high-quality product that really delivers on its promises. If you're looking for a hand cream that will nourish and protect your dry, damaged hands, this is definitely worth trying.

This is the best handcream I have ever purchased! And I have bought high end products too. Cerave handcream really does the job. Leaves my hands feeling silky smooth. Not at all greasy. It's very similar to Lancome Confort handcream, but at a fraction of the price. If you're in 2 minds, don't hesitate, it's a beautiful cream with no scent, so its unlikely to cause irritation. Only wish it came in a bigger size.

Absolutely amazing!

I have bought so many hand creams/lotions etc over the years but nothing I have tried has ever helped. I suffer from Raynaud's and my hands had been constantly dry and cracked. I saw this advertised online and on TV and decided to give it a go. At first I thought it was a lot of money for a small tube of hand cream but don't be fooled by that as a little goes a long way. The first time I put it on my hands I could feel a massive difference straight away. I used it twice a day for about a week as my hands were really bad and super dry. The product says it goes through about 3 layers of skin and it actually feels like that when you use it. Even if you wash your hands your stiff feel it on them afterwards. It's definitely worth the money. I use it 3 times a week now. ... MoreI have bought so many hand creams/lotions etc over the years but nothing I have tried has ever helped. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed. My hands are so soft and silky feeling and everyone comments on how good they look. I didn't receive this as part of any free gift or promotion. I bought it from a local store.

Best hand cream I've used - Great for Eczema
1 September 2021

After reading the reviews I decided to buy this product. I have Eczema on my hands which is aggravated at the moment due to pet allergies. I have severely dry, cracked and itchy skin. I didn't think any hand cream would work that was not a doctor prescribed steroid cream, but this product truly surprised me. Within 4 days the cracks and dryness on my knuckles and fingers were completely different. My skin is now instead super soft, and the product did not aggravate my skin or make me itch when I was applying it whatsoever; much different to other handcreams that are fragranced. Truly the best handcream; if you have Eczema and are looking for a daily skin softener after things like handwashing and being on the go without the harshness of a steroid cream then this is ... MoreAfter reading the reviews I decided to buy this product. I have had eczema my entire life my hands are the worst part of my body for constant dry skin caused by Pompholyx dyshidrotic eczema and easily irritated skin after using soap, water and most other liquids. I originally bought the Nursem Caring Skin Fix as my hands were left in such a state after moving house and from a flare up of eczema that I wanted to see if it had any immediate effect. I could tell after a day it had made a massive difference to my very dry and cracked skin, using it in targeted areas as it suggested. As this worked so well I thought I would try the Caring Hand Cream as a daily cream to use before bed. As this worked so well I thought I would try the Caring Hand Cream as a daily cream to use before bed. It is excellent usually I have to apply a lot of cream during the day but over the past week I have found my hands to be soft and not requiring much lotion at all. I cant say for sure how it has helped my Pompholyx as this flares with the weather, stress etc, but the skin on my hands has absolutely loved this stuff and Im really happy with the results. The scent isnt anything special although my other half loves the scent so probably to each their own but it certainly isnt bad and goes away quickly after absorption, and my personal preference is a less artificially fragranced cream anyway to reduce any possible irritation. I have tried pretty much every hand cream from the stores, emollients, prescription steroids and almost everything else under the sun to improve the skin on my hands over the years and this, for now, seems to be the only thing that is actually helping and I really hope it lasts I also love the fact they give products to nurses and the packaging has a 90s vibe to it which I love and it looks great on my bedside table

Perfect for those prone to hand eczema
5 January 2023

I'm very susceptible to hand eczema, it's something I struggle with every year, sometimes even in the summer, especially during the winter. a lot of the other hand creams I've looked at are either fragranced or too greasy or too thick/tacky. I came across CeraVe from derm reviews etc. so gave this a try as my very first CeraVe product. I've been using this for about a year now and am very happy. it keeps my hands moisturized for several hours, and is even water resistant which is great for me as I'm prone to hand eczema. easy to spread, not too thick, not tacky, not greasy. a little goes a long way. once massaged into the hands, it's all good. I like that it's fragrance free as I have asthma and eczema. overall very happy with this product, definitely recommend!
