I had suffered from severe acne breakouts in my early 20s and foolishly to try and get rid of the huge bumps on my face I'd try to pop them and pick them off , creating horrible scars on my face. I would always have to wear makeup before I left the house because I was super embarrassed of how my skin looked. Now I did my research prior so I knew that it was going to take more than a couple days to start seeing any improvement , and I also knew of the " retinol purge" which is what happens to some when they first start using it, its just the retinol pulling up all the the dirt and pollutants from under your skins surface , just stick with it, dont quit! After about 5 days when the purge started subsiding, I could start to see the improvement of my skin, the texture evening out, my large pores on my nose starting to shrink, my skin started to look more plump and firm, and there was just this beautiful youthful glow to my skin that I hadn't seen in ages! I can't put into words how happy I am with this product , and can't wait to see how much better my skin will look continuing this every night! If you're on the fence with it, give it a try! The resurfacing serum says you can apply it everyday unless you had a sensitivity on its first use. Great at smoothing the skin after acne!

I am 27 and have small red marks left behind after a spout of adult acne. They were quite flat and very red and noticeable especially when wearing makeup. I started using the serum once every other day then built it up to every day. After using the product for 2 weeks I can definitely say that it's smoothed the texture of my skin to the point where my skin feels soft and supple and makeup covers my marks completely. I also suffer from quite sensitive skin but I've not had any sensitivity with the serum and I've been able to use it frequently. It has slightly got the redness down but it's not a noticeable difference, maybe I would have seen a difference after more than 2 weeks. Great for acne prone skin

I have been waiting on Cerave to bring this product to the UK. Its been on the market in the US for ages now and lots of US dermatologists recommend as an over the counter daily product for acne prone skin.The packaging is nice, the pump is easy to use, and it's nice to find a retinol that also contains other blemish fighting ingredients.I do use retinol and other forms of retina regularly however I did find that moving onto this one I did have to space out the usage. Started off using 4 times in one week and my skin was flaking badly. I have combination skin prone to black heads, enlarges pores, acne scaring & spots. I basically have teenage skin in my 30's.I have been using this resurfacing retinol for 2 weeks and have noticed a difference in my skin already.It no longer looks congested with blackheads, the surface is renewed meaning my skin looks brighter and fresher with very minimal spots.I would imagine that with prolonged use, I could be spot free and a million times happier with my skin.It's also very reasonably priced in comparison to other brands, however it doesn't state the percentage of retinol so it's difficult to tell how it compares to others in terms of amount of active ingredients.1 pump does my entire face and neck. I'm shocked that it actually works!!

I really should have done before & after photos to fully appreciate the contrast. As someone with " bad skin" to the point I had borderline depression over the pain of its existence, I have tried countless acne cure alls & even creams promising just abit of improvement & seldom notice much difference. I have been using this for 3 weeks & I notice a difference, I'm stocked!!
