I have tried all different kinds of products to help with my acne, nothing worked. I was actually recommended this product by a make up artist, and all i can say is....she was right! I haven't had an acne breakout since using this cleanser, i also use sa smoothing toner, followed by vichy minereral 89 and so far so good. Cerave sa smoothing cleanser is exactly what it says, it smoothes my skin for better foundation application. It also makes my skin feel really fresh and clean, without the harshness or dryness that some cleansers can cause, which is great for my sensitive skin. It lasts ages too, as a little goes a long way! Very happy and will definitely be making further purchases of cerave products.

Bought this for my daughter. She has had trouble with her breakouts from around13+ we tried all cleansers and washes. Nothing really helped. Spoke to a advisor on the chat facility and they were fantastic. We tried this with the moisturiser from the same range and her skin started to clear up after a week or so of using. She wont use anything else, and even if she skips a day or two she starts to break out , so it definitely does what it says! We love it! (Myself included)

I was battling the most horrific hormonal acne and I can confidently say that this SA cleanser has single handed saved my skin! I am a self confessed skin care junkie (with sensitive combo skin) but during lockdown, I’m not sure if it was a combination of stress and mask wearing but I was breaking out everyday on my jawline and cheeks. It was really getting me down. But within 2 weeks of AM and PM use (I also do a double cleanse with oil based cleanser first in the PM) I haven’t had any new spots. What I did have has died down. Last time I bought this cleanser, when I used it I got itchy rash (I cleansed my back, legs). Then I thought it was from something else, milk, whatever. So my dermatologist suggested me to use mild cleanser, take drugs, avoid everything that could've brought that. It cleared up after few weeks. Few days ago I used it again on my back and the next day I got the same rash all over my back, neck, arms, it goes to the face also. It's horrible because it's really itchy and it doesn't go away even with antihistamines. It's hard to fall asleep because of the itching. All the clothes also triggers the rash. So never again. I did a lot of research into cleansers while changing my skincare routine now that I am in my 30’s, and I eventually decided on this one. I have combination skin so my T-zone gets very oily throughout the day. I have definitely noticed an improvement after using this twice daily (AM and PM) and it’s only been a week and a half of useage. I also love that it does not leave you with a tight or dry feeling and it does not irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes. I would definitely recommend this cleanser and I would repurchase.

After years of suffering from mild acne and bumps I decided to try this face wash after hearing so many good things about it.. Well, it's been 2 years and this face wash hasn't failed me!. My skin is completely clear, free from dull and dry skin! My bumps has all cleared, it's brighten my complexion, and my skin feels plumped and smooth. I use this face wash along with cerave SA smoothing cream. I can't live without it. I have tried many other skin care brands but this one worked well for me. My skin used to look so dull honestly and before my period I always used to break out on my face but cerave SA face wash was and SA cream has stopped all that. After reading online that washing with salicylic acid can reduce whiteheads + blackheads I bought this product. I have sensitive skin so eased it into my routine but haven’t found any side effects yet (no tingling, discolouration, or dryness etc). So that’s good! It doesn’t have a smell either and the texture is smooth and non-offensive so doesn’t overstimulate me (for my ND beauty fans out there) The last month has been hard for my beauty routine so the routine isn’t so much a routine, just when I have spoons to do it, but I have noticed a reduction in blackheads on my cheeks which is great.
