I would definitely give it more stars, however, the inner cinch strap busted after about a week or so and ended up having to retighten everything, and I ended up tightening it all down with a bunch of zip ties and duct tape. I’ll probably have to readjust it again at some point due to dropping and tossing the bag. Otherwise I’m happy with all the other quality of the bag. I’ll probably end up buying one of the bags with the zipper and strap next time tho

Listen, I know the pandemic hit a lot of people harder than me. I consider myself lucky. That being said, I lost about half my yearly income, my gym shut down, and I was faced with starting my military career in a matter of months with no way to train heavy. This sandbag changed all that, at a price that didn’t break the ever-dwindling bank. It is durable, has a high weight capacity, and even looks bada**! I would recommend this to anyone who is in need of a heavy object to pick up and put down again.

This is my first time buying a sand bag, I didn’t know what to expect. This bag seems to be great quality, and so far so good. The only thing I didn’t factor is was the weight, it’s different from stones and barbell; I didn’t measure how much sand I was putting in, so it was heavier than I wanted! So, be sure to measure. I ended buying a second bag. Definitely will be buying more.

The exchange service was prompt and excellent. I ordered the large bag and realized that it was just too much for a guy my size. Ken made the exchange process simple even though I got the bag through Amazon and the return wasn't working when I tried to authorize it on their end. The medium bag is great. I'm impressed by the triple stitched flat felled seams with what looks to be a thick poly-kevlar blend thread (though I haven't put it to a burn test). That's a fancy way of saying that the seam work is absolutely top notch and the thread won't decay in water or heat. Most of the stuff I buy for the gym I have to immediately reinforce to be on the safe side. I kept popping zip ties on the when I dropped it, so I opted to take out the cinch collar and close this guy up the old fashioned way, with a 2 inch weld ring and lacrosse ball. I imagine that it was made the way it was for a good reason, but we all have our preferences and I Like the feel of a very tight sandbag. Worst case scenario I've mangled my purchase into a simple sack that's STILL cheaper than any competitor's product.-even the plain canvas sand sacks. I imagine that adding 10 lbs every few weeks will get me to where I want to be by the end of the year, stone wise. Since I've got a limited amount of space this is clearly the best way for me to get there. Thanks!
Groovey product so far!! The excess material at the top of the bag isn’t awesome! But I haven’t broke them yet lol! I will figure a way to tie/tighten them up. I didn’t find many videos online like I expected… but a very humbling addition to my gym
This is my 2nd bag from here, moving up from 220 lbs to 287. I love this particular bag because it comes with an inside liner and an internal draw string which allows you to control how tightly packed the bag is. It also makes it easy to use less weight and still have the bag be firm and packed, so you can gradually build your way up to the max capacity of 287 without having to worry about the sand sloshing around due to extra space. The traditional tie off at the top is great too and makes it easier to reposition the bag and drag it around for whatever exercises you can come up with. I donated my first bag to my local gym so other people can experience the greatness of training with one of these sandbags. Highly recommended!
Great product as always from Cerberus. I purchased this sandbag as I wasn’t able to lift my other bag when it was filled completely. This was a much better option since I could fill it to any weight between the limit and then close it off. Great stitching and closure areas, definitely feels like it will last a lifetime. I recommend this to anybody who wants to get a sandbag but isn’t quite sure about what weight to fill it to.
Good bag for strongman movements. I don’t really do any slams but this has been dropped from chest height many times. Sometimes it needs to be re tightened from the draw string and the bag redone to keep it compacted and the sand tight. But that’s no issue. I like the idea of having a bag that’s scalable and liners can be changed with different weights. Be sure to trim your liner otherwise you’ll end up with way too much extra. I trimmed it to where it was out of the bag about six inches untied. Worked out fine for me. Over all I feel this bag has a place but if you don’t want to fiddle with tightening or don’t care about changing the weight I’d go with one of their bags that you just fill and secure with the top strap.
I love doing sandbag workouts however this bag seems to leak sand even though I followed the instructions on how to set it up. Additionally, the black strap used to tighten the top part of the bag keeps coming undone so I had to use extra zip ties and duct tape to delay ithat from happening. I would recomend a better strap and maybe the use of a double sandbag to avoid leaking. I found the Dual Ply Sandbags much better to use.
