Ive been in-car audio for over 40 years, and these blew my mind.How can they put this much volume and clarity at this ridiculously low price?These components sound as good as speakers at double or triple the price, and then some.If you were to put these side by side with a set of Infinity Kappas or Alpine components, you would be hard-pressed to hear the difference.Bottom line, you cant go wrong at this price.Rick Lillard

One mid range speaker was blown. right out of the box brand new and it was junk. I swapped it with the good one and confirmed, it was a bad speak. Cerwin Vega has fallen from the throne of high end audio. 15yrs ago I had a complete Cerwin Vega audio system that won competitions. Ground pounding system back then. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a single replacement since this was a kit. I went to a local shop and simply purchased a Kicker component kit. These vegas were a waste of my money.

Ive been a fan of Cerwin Vega since I bought my first set of home speakers back in 1990. This is the first time Ive ventured into their mobile audio line. I have to say Im not disappointed. Nice crisp highs from the tweeters and good midbass from the woofers. A great budget option. Ive given them 4 stars only because I know there are better options if youre willing to spend more money. These are, however, a good value option.

The system sounds & looks good in a car with a very tight passenger compartment (mid 70s sports car). I can hear my music clearly while driving with the roof off. The instruction booklet that came with the the speakers was confusing,as the paragraph describing the wiring stressed keeping the polarity correct, yet the diagram showed the plus and minus switched from the input side to the output side. I called your tech support line, and the tech I spoke with said rule of thumb is plus to plus & minus to minus, as I thought. I finished the installation and am very satisfied with the result. Service for purchase and tech support were excellent, thank you.
I have a problem with the one of the small tweeter crossovers It doesnt work! I called to see what they could do and was told I had to return the whole order which in now installed in my car! I asked if they could send just the small component I needed that was not working and was told no I have to return the whole order which is not going to happen as it was a whole day to install everything so Im not taking it all back out! I would gladly return the small piece that is broken not the whole order but was told NO! Extremely bad customer service!!
Excellent choice, awesome sound, mounting the crossovers much easier because of the size. Could not be happier with the quality of sound.
These are some really nice speakers! The sounds quality is amazing. I was actually pretty surprised by how clear they sounded. I have two 6 1/2 JL Audio coaxial speakers in my car too and I think these sound way better. And theyre a third the price of JLs. Im very happy with them and definitely recommend them to anybody looking to upgrade their system.
This component setup allows you to keep the factory wires and have a crossover for the woofer and tweeter. Easy Install and sound great in the doors and dash of the 370z.
These are hard hitters for 6.5s. They have very clear sound (comparable to Infinity brand). CV is all Ill ever put in my vehicles again.
I hope its not too early for review but these c/v components sound great already I just had time to get them installed and do a little tuning, also the separate crossovers make finding mounting places easier and not running too long of wire. now being c/vs they should last a good time, as for now, Im satisfied.
