So I wanted to buy some speakers for my girls ride due to the factory front door speakers being crunchy and blown. I entered on Sonics website the car and it recommended that these Cerwin Vega V465s fit the civic front door panels. They looked good, from what I read they were perfect so I ordered. Sonic came through like normal and I had them 2 days later. I pulled the door panels off and removed the old speaker (which was about 4mm shorter, and much more puny)but overall I wasnt stressing the new ones going back in.....Well when I went to put the new Cerwin Vegas back in, they were way too big. Sonic even sent some kind of ring adaptor that I and my buddy tried every different way and these speakers just would not fit without Sawzall metal cutting modification. These speakers couple with the NVX baffles in the front door in my 02 4 Runner sound amazing bring a lot of mid-bass upfront with the proper tuning with a good head unit, I am running an Alpine ilx-w650 to these speakers with advanced EQ tuning and set the X-over points on the fronts These Cerwin-Vegas came to life like a concert hall

I bought these to replace the Factory Alpines in my 2021 Gladiator. Had Cerwin Vegas in a home stereo and sounded great so I gave them a try in the auto department . And I am glad I did these sound great much better than the factory Alpines. Would buy again !
Fantastic speakers. Not lacking in the lows at all and nice clean mids and highs without the higher frequencies being overbearing. All around great set of speakers as long as you have the power to run them. They are running on a JBL GX-602 amp.
They are very high quality speakers I am dedicated to the Cerwin Vega brand. They are high and mid range focused, with little to no bass as they are intended for a quality stereo system that would normally include a subwoofer. Crystal clear, however check to see if they fit in your door as they are deeper than most and I couldn't clip my pannel back completely.
Mounted these in the rear bose boxes and adapters for the doors. Need 1 adapters for the rear and 1/2 for the doors. These speakers sound great!
I forgot how loud cerwin Vega can be. Until I put four of these (two sets) in my 81 F150. Man these things really produce. Now if I can just decide between vmaxx or stroker sub...

They are excellent paired with the B54 Amp . set the crossover at 60hz if you want, they will reproduce flawlessly at 80w rms . Putem in the doors with baffles and some Noico / Soundskin /Dymamat because they Bounce! Very happy with them !
