I have this hooked up to a planet audio 4 channel amp bridged at 200 watts and it gets plenty loud.I have it in a scar audio vented box and it is loud enough to hurt your ears with just one subwoofer in the right box. Dont expect to win any competitions with a entry level sub but do expect to rattle your windows.

I have two in a ported truck box under the seat,in a 2010 f150,they hit hard,and deep without a whole big air space,sounds great,I will definitely purchase another set to put in something else
Great Subwoofers but their amplifiers are better.
I recommend using this sub in a ported box for maximum bump. I have it in my Jeep with an 800 watt Cerwin Vega amplifier.
