Bought this for my baby because I have been using Cetaphil products for my own skin for years and I am usually a huge fan. This made my baby break out in a huge red, pimply rash all over her body the first time we used it. Also, smells really funky - almost like vomit. Not sure if it was just us, but it seems really harsh and “fragrency” for sensitive baby skin. We threw the rest of ours away and switched back to J&J.

I had high hopes for this since I use this brand for myself and I’ve always loved it. My sons skin became even more dry than it already way. I love the wash. I think it’s the lotion that was the issue. I started using honest lotion instead and everything cleared up.

Smells good and baby seemed to not mind, but after applying to baby, I must have touched my eye at some point, and my eye was bothering me the rest of the evening. I also assumed this would be unscented since it's for sensitive skin.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I added this to my registry w/ out reading the reviews because I’ve been a believer in Cetaphil for the last two years. It works great on my skin as well as my toddler’s skin. It’s the only thing that keeps her moisturized and she has slight eczema HOWEVER this specific baby lotion is such CRAP. It smells awful. Like hair relaxer. It dries out my newborn baby’s skin soooo bad. Like literally 5 minutes after applying it, he’s completely dry and flaky all over. It says on the bottle “new look, same formula” but it’s def not ! Just awful for babies who are so sensitive.
Everything’s fine the wash smells great but the lotion smells awful. Idk why they smell different. Maybe mines old? It doesn’t have an exp date. It’s yellow. Is it supposed to be yellow?
I received a sample of the shampoo in my target registry gift bag & I fell in love with the scent instantly. It stays on my baby’s hair forever and I get a lot of compliments on how good they smell. However I can’t seem to love the lotion the same. I don’t feel like they’re the exact same scent even though it seems similar, I think the lotion has a stronger scent but not in a good way.
It contains fragrance !! Why do they even put fragrance on baby products a baby’s skin is very sensitive and your putting God knows what chemicals on them I’ll be returning doctor recommend it but I’ll be looking for something more natural without chemicals Checked this product on EWG and it rates a 5 which isn’t good
I bought it for my son while he was in the NICU for over 5 months. He started to develop red pumps after birth which can be normal. But noticed they were worse after his bath times. Which he has a bed bath every night in the NICU. But with Hospital baby wash it seemed to worse. So I bought this at target. It almost immediately went away. After that he never had a problem. I bought the package of two with lotion. He has sensitive skin just like his older siblings so we only bathe him the recommended times appropriately for his age. This has lasted us 9 months so far ! It smells wonderful the NICU nurses loved it! But consider every child is different. Maybe buy sampler/travel sizes try them first..
This smells so good, it is super sensitive, my kids have never had a reaction or rash from it. Throw whatever else you are using away (Johnson & Johnson I see you), and get this, you will not be disappointed! I also use only Cetaphil bars for myself as well as the face/body lotion. This is the reason I switched myself, never looking back!!
This is a great choice for babies with eczema. I tried a few different lotions, some specifically for eczema and for my little one, this one worked best. Have been applying it 2 - 3 times a day since he was 3 months and his skin has remained soft and moisturized. (8 months now) Definitely recommend!
