Cetaphil Face Gentle Foaming Cleanser 236 ml

I recommend this gentle foaming cleanser! I really enjoy it! It is fragrance free and hypoallergenic. I have dry skin, and it works very good. I love the texture. I use one to two pumps, and it’s enough to clean my face and neck area. I previously tried Cetaphil creamy cleanser and I didn’t like it because it had left my skin with this oily feeling. My skin didn’t feel cleaned and my pores felt clogged. This one leaves my skin with clean feeling.

This is an 8oz pump style gentle foaming cleanser for your face. It is a gentle cleanser that will not not dry out your skin. I’ve been using it for about a week now, my face feels softer and definitely clean. I love the foam cleanser as it only takes two pumps to clean my whole face. I would definitely recommend. Ceraphil is the #1 dermatologist recommended facial skincare brand as well so you know your getting a great product if you don’t believe me.

I really loved this cleanser! It had no scent so it wasn’t harsh on my face, and I could use it when my face was super dry without making it worse. However, the foaming pump stopped working for some reason, and I have been unable to fix it. The pump used to work flawlessly and the product would be a lot foamier, but it kinda just stays stuck down now. I have to pump a few times in order to get the same amount that I would get with one pump of the not broken packaging. I still have a lot of product left that and it is too expensive to replace/waste.

If your skin is super sensitive and you have difficulties with most cleansers, I bet you’d like this. I’ve never encountered a more gentle and hydrating cleanser. It almost feels like it didn’t get your skin entirely clean at first, but it really does. I absolutely would use this on a baby’s skin because it’s so mild. However, it’s a bit too gentle for my skin type, which needs a touch more oomph than this cleanser provides. However, I deducted two whole stars for packaging. The pump on this started sticking pretty quickly after I started using it, which necessitated me manually moving the pump up and down. I even pulled the pump apart to wash out the cleanser that had dried and gummed up the pump mechanism. I found it was so refreshing to use after a really long day to remove the grit and grime of the day, or when it was really humid out to remove that "sticky" feeling. My skin is also super sensitive and this did not bother it at all, not even once. Really, I loved this cleanser so much it has replaced my loofah sponge and beauty bar, I have been converted. Fix the bottle and pump!

I actually really like the cleanser. HATE the bottle/pump. I have been using this for over a year, and I always want to review the pump. So, here I am finally doing it in HOPES the company will change the bottle/pump situation already! This face wash is nice, but it definitely won’t work solo for taking off makeup. You will need a makeup remover and an initial wash with a soap with more foaming and cleaning power than this provides. I love this face wash for a non makeup face wash, and I use it after all the other prep is done. Fix the bottle!

Gentle and moisturizing

I tried this product on a whim and I am so happy that I did. I have hormonal acne and sensitive skin. This product is gentle for my skin and my skin feels moisturized after using it, but not filmy. It doesn’t feel stripped but it feels gentle and doesn’t seem to aggravate my breakouts. It comes out as a foam which I feel like may contribute to it being more gentle than coming out as a gel and then lathering. I haven’t noticed flares of acne from this face wash and I keep going back to it. I usually use one face wash in the morning and another one at night, but I find myself wanting to use this product for both times of the day. Gentle but Effective

I love this cleanser, it’s effective but ever so gentle on sensitive and even broken skin. I tried this cleanser because I was looking for a cleanser that was non irritating but also foaming, as I always feel that my skin gets a better clean with a foaming cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this cleanser takes off makeup while not aggravating any redness or broken skin. It leaves the skin super smooth and feeling quite nourished after using it. I appreciated that it didn’t sting my eyes and was great at removing eye makeup. I will definitely be repurchasing it again. I would recommend it to anyone that wants an affordable cleanser, that does the job, without stripping the skin.

Pump doesn't work, almost immediately

I tried a sample size from my dermatologist and liked the product. Well the sample size has a much better (different designed pump). This one, the pump almost immediately didn't work. As many others have noted, the pump has to be manually pushed back up each time. Very annoying. I would loyally use this product if the container wasn't defective. Back to the drawing board of trying to find a face wash I like.

Very gentle and refreshing on your skin!

I was very happy to find that this cleanser is very light on application, and very gentle on my skin! It left my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and soft. There is no overpowering scent to this cleanser, nor does it feel like you're lathering your face with loads of chemicals. Some people may prefer more of a tingling sensation (which is often a placebo effect in cleansers to make you feel like it's working) but I can promise you that you don't need a tingle to know that this cleanser is working. Despite its lightness, you can tell from the first use that it's deeply cleansing all your pores. If you're like me, and you're looking for face washes that will deep clean your skin without irritating it, then you should definitely give this one a try. It will last you a very long time, even with daily use. A little goes a long way with this product, and you will definitely get good value for money!
