I bought this to try based on all the positive reviews, as I have sensitive skin and constant hormonal acne breakouts, and had yet to find something that actually works for my skin. I really wanted to love this cleanser as I know it is highly acclaimed in the skin care community. I wanted to see if it could replace my holy grail gentle cleanser (which I purchase online) because this product would be more accessible in stores. However, this product broke me out badly… in cysts. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I know this cleanser caused the breakouts because I have been using the other products in my skincare for years consistently and have had no such reaction. This face cleanser is OK. Its not great, and I wouldn’t buy it, but I might recommend it to someone who just wants a simple face wash to get the job done. I see why its recommended by dermatologists because it works as it’s supposed to but is just not my favorite compared to other products I have used. I have sensitive skin and so I do like that it is fragrance free and hypoallergenic but I have used other face cleansers that work better and actually do something for my skin to the point where I can see positive results. However, this cleanser does feel gentle and is not harsh at all, so if you do have very sensitive skin, this may be a very good face cleanser for you, but even I would consider my skin to be on the more sensitive side and plenty of other products ... MoreThis face cleanser is OK. This cleanser is really good. There are lots of comments in regard to the new formula being worse than the old, which has NOT been my experience. ( it’s just a cleanser list of ingredients! ). This gentle foaming cleanser defends against 5 signs of skin barrier, dryness, irritation, roughness, and tightness. It’s not harsh on my skin at all. I massage the product into my ski for 60 seconds then rinse and follow the rest of my daily routine. This product goes on light and smooth and leaves my skin feeling fresh and healthy. I don’t care for the smell though, hence I less the star rating. What I love about this cleanser it is effective, but gentle without stripping or leaving my skin feeling dry. Hot water to start, then massage and rinse with cold water and dab a towel. I've been using it for just about a week and my face is almost completely clear! It feels soft and I can definitely tell my face is much more hydrated and happy. And I'm happy! Acne and scaring can be such a difficult thing to cope with. I'm definitely calling this a life saver!!!! And for the price, its more than perfect! Finding an affordable face wash/treatment is extremely hard especially having to go through spending so much to find the right one. Definitely recommend â ¤ï¸

I was a loyal user for almost 2 decades, recommended it to friends and bought it for my family, but now I'm searching for a new cleanser thanks to the horrible new formula. I used to be able to wash my face just once and it would remove makeup, and was gentle on my acne prone dry skin and easy before bed. Now it's watery and does nothing, the nozzle gets clogged and sprays everywhere, it's just really terrible. I really feel like they just added water to save money because now I have to wash my face twice, and had to pick up an additional makeup remover at Ulta I also have to use before this.
