Overall, I was very impressed with this Prograde Digital reader. It correctly recognized all my different Asus model desktop PC Thunderbolt 3 & 4 ports, and all their USB 3.2 2x2 ports, delivering appropriate 20 to 30Gbps speeds. Ditto for my Surface Pro 9 Thunderbolt 4 ports. However the PG05.6 reader refused to recognize my Surface Pro 8 Thunderbolt 8 ports; Windows 11 Pro would simply never see it. If I plugged the reader into an attached Surface Dock 2, it would see the dock's USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and run at 10Gbps. My tests were done with a Prograde Digital CFexpress Type B 2.0 325GB memory card. I can't afford the faster 1.3TB 4.0 card.
