It's so soft and warm and cozy....sweet but not gourmand. The ginger, peach and citrus work in harmony during the opening, giving the fragrance a fresh, but dry feel. When the top notes tone down a bit, a very rich spicy middle effortlessly transitions in,it is definitely the pepper, and it plays nice with the fruity and floral notes. The composition at this point is difficult to break down by notes because it melds into one delightful spicy fresh treat. The dry down turns into a mix of Amber and Tonka beans, with more vanilla. The amber gets sweeter towards the end of its life, but seems to carry the peach note in the base that at times I can smell. But overall the amber is dominate with a hint of spice. Almost smells of a light syrup. The performance on this is excellent as well as this lasts on me 8-10 hours and projects above average for about 3 hours and in my opinion is all year round type of a fragrance.

Warm, seductive, yet fresh and clean. It’s both floral and spicy. I was gifted this perfume and I like it a lot. I feel so boujee and powerful when I wear this. The bottle is also so classy and I love displaying it on my desk! I just think that the scent is a little strong - to the point where I have gotten a headache before - but it smells so good that that’s not a huge deal to me. Scent lasts forever, and I can wear it both during the daytime and nighttime. Highly recommend.

I’ve read rave reviews about the Allure edt and how it is a brighter version of the edp, but when I tested it on me, the edt was super sour and smelled awful on me. I've been wearing this since it came out! Among others, of course. But, I've always enjoyed this. It is a pleasant and sensual vanilla scent. Men love it! It sure lasts all day! I found the eau de toilette version to have the same durability...maybe less strong hair. This is also great! Chanel is so chic....classic!

Nice Classy smell. The smell is quite sophisticated and well blended. It is quite smooth. It has a sweet and clean smell that is not overpowering. This can be a good office or formal event scent. It can be an almost all-weather scent, except maybe super high heat. Good scent to blind buy, you won't go wrong with it and it is also quite non-offensive. The only downside to it is that it doesn't last a very long time, probably just 4-5 hours. If you looking for a fresher alternative to this, try the Allure Homme sport line.

I would buy this product again and again!

I have been wearing Chanel Allure eau de toilette since it was first advertised, too many years ago to recall. When I first went to buy it, it wasn't even available in stores, yet! I get constant compliments of my scent. I buy the small spray bottle because I always take it with me when I fly. It stays fresher that way, too.I often purchase it at Ulta and get special gifts with purchase!

Not just for older women

I bought the edp on a splurge once in my early 20's on Back Friday in the Mall of America. Ever since then it has been my all time favorite fragrance. It's not sweet or fruity like the perfumes I was used to, but it also didn't smell too dated. When I met my husband 6 years ago I would often hint at how much I love this but it just wasn't in our budget. He bought me some for our anniversary and it is even more lovely than I remember. Give this one a chance. Even if you don't love it at first, you will by the end of the day. Makes me feel fresh and elegant and put together even when I'm not.
