This is very often compared with Versace Pour Homme , VPH could be considered as inspired by AHS,cause AHS came out first and VPH 4 years later. This has that thicker tonka which adds heavier n creamier blast to the freshness that draws you in, which is the highlight of AHS that you just cant find in Versace. AHS has more dimensions and complexity but Versace is the more dumb reach you'll likely go to exactly for the reason that its more basic. You can get almost the same effect for half the price with Versace Pour Homme. I actually prefer AHS as it's a bit smoother but it's pretty close and I'd just go with the Versace 100% of the time if I had to pick only price wise,but if you want more,choose Chanel quality. This is one of the safest blind buying fragrance,of course I’m never encouraged anyone to do so, always try before you buy!Spring/summer, daytime scent. Sillage is average, longevity is bit better, I got 6-7hours on skin.

What you get is heavy dose of mint Tonka Bean orange and woods. It is what we in the community like to call a dumb reach; for those days when you cannot think of what to wear because you either can't decide or are feeling uninspired, this is one that you can go ahead and just throw on and it could fit almost any occasion. If you're going to work just ease up on the sprays if you're going to a wedding extra; it works well in the summertime when it is super hot due to the mint and the citrus; it is heavy enough for the winter thanks to the tonka bean and the woods. For a designer fragrance that's not part of the private line this fragrance has excellent longevity as I get an easy 9 hours on my skin, with projection being about a little more than arm's length for the first 3 hours until it settles down to half arms length for another couple of hours and then it becomes a skin scent around the seven hour mark. While far from my most complex fragrance in my collection this is one that I think any person should have in their collection. I mean even though this is a decidedly masculine release, women can pull this off whether you are a traditional feminine presenting female or a masculine presenting female.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne is a masculine citrus aromatic fragrance. I blind bought this because I wanted to have the whole line that I could get. I have heard so much of the previous iteration of this that I was excited to try this one as well. This is an excellent fragrance. As with all colognes it is fleeting but such a great fragrance I will happily respray often. This opens with a light and refreshing blast of a sharp fresh citrus blend and airy aldehydes with lightly soapy clean neroli and sweet greenery. The mid is fresh spices with fresh resinous wood and sharp spicy citrus tinged wood. The base is herbaceous woody tonka bean, spicy peppery accord, aromatic cedar and earthy vetiver with lingering clean white musk.

A fresh first effect of mandarin and aldehyde notes. This is followed by a combination of neroli and cedar wood, a blend of intense and masculine notes. The neroli never comes over here, though. After a few minutes, the fragrance reveals a light tonka bean note and musky notes. The fragrance has been described here, however, already umpteen times super. I have the feeling that the scent has unfortunately fallen into oblivion. In my opinion it was a real hype that is timeless and still great to wear. Perfectly matched, not too sweet and not too old-fashioned. Therefore wearable from young to old. Not too intrusive and not too hidden. Not only in summer with hot temperatures but also in winter. Not only wearable during sports but also in the office or for a special occasion. I was fascinated by the fragrance and I have received many compliments for it. He never came off badly. The durability and sillage on me is completely ok. I would say perfectly tuned. One is pleasantly perceived even over a longer period of time. In my opinion, the fragrance still goes very, very well. Unfortunately something has been forgotten and torn apart by some people here. What I can't understand. So to celebrate the day, I'm going to spray it on myself and I'm already looking forward to the fresh, elegant aquatic notes that will surround me.

The price tag is a bit high, some people recommend that the Versace Pour Homme is a better alternative considering the price. I agree to some extent, but I believe that Versace is a bit lighter and has a sportier vibe than this one. Maybe in the 2000s, Allure was considered a fresh sport fragrance, but by today's standard, think this is a bit sweet for that matter. Maybe a little heavy for the very hot and humid days under direct sunlight, but other than that I think you can wear this anytime, anywhere, even in a more formal situation with ease. A pre-mother's day promotion was an incentive!I have the original Allure, plus the classic Homme Sport. Although there are similarities with the original Sport, it's the amazing opening notes that sets this one apart.The fusion of Italian mandarin and mint are so good. This projects strongly for the first couple of hours. The scent then leaves a warm, musky trail that's elevated by Tonka Bean.I think this is a super versatile fragrance that can be worn all year round. You can wear it casually dressed or with a suit/blazer. Expect unsolicited compliments! Honestly, I got mine from Macys as at the time I never heard of Sephora. Absolutely love this masculine scent. Great citrus eye opening smell. And the spray nozzle works perfectly. And the best spray pattern I ever seen in a mens cologne. However, I must caution fellow men this scent is very potent. And requires being properly applied. No over spraying.I tend to bean over sprayer and I can tell you with 100% certainty. You will get nausea or a headache. Especially in an enclosed area.So for you over sprayers. I would use this with minimal spraying or look into a weaker formulation.I gave mine away to a young man who did not have issues with the strong scent unlike myself.Still a 5 star product.Sometimes scents just don't agree with a person.
