Not only does it project a sense of luxury but is versatile and can be worn day or night. This is a staple of my perfume Collection. I don't usually wear perfumes very well, they tend to turn on me and it was hard for me to find one that stayed the same throughout the evening. This was bought for me by my husband (who was then my boyfriend) and I had told him not to get me perfume if he wanted to buy me a gift because I can't wear them. He told the saleslady about my predicament and she recommended this. I love it. I am glad that he bought it anyway because it is now my signature perfume.

I’ve read rave reviews about the Allure edt and how it is a brighter version of the edp, but when I tested it on me, the edt was super sour and smelled awful on me. Gabrielle and Coco Noir, I'm looking at you two... not that they're bad, but Allure EDP EDT are both better. Allure easily performs the best out of all the Chanel's too. It opens citrusy, Fruity and admittedly not my favorite. That drydown though! Ugh... it's absolutely to die for. Very creamy, a little sweet but never sugary. It's a bit hard to articulate. My husband loves it on me as do my oldest sons. So men seem to find it nice. The commercial only further reinforces that's what Chanel was going for... A woman's fragrance intended to entice men. Smells a lot different on skin than on a card. On the card it never really developed. This stuff goes the distance. It lasts like 8-12 hours with two sprays, it's sexy and sophisticated, which is a delicate balance that Chanel does very, very well. You get the same balance of sexy sophistication in Coco. Not that they smell alike because they absolutely do not, just that they share that ability to be super sexy without sacrificing Class. Allure leaves a lovely little memory trail And wafts as you move about, but it isn't obnoxious if you don't over apply it. It's damn near perfection. Yet another Chanel in my collection that I bought on a trip to the department store specifically for another fragrance... I went for Lancôme Poeme and left with a 3.4 oz of this also. Chanel seems to be really good at getting me to drop that extra $135 I wasn't planning on spending. lo

I am a member of TFS and recently purchased Allure perfume for my wife. I was charged non-members price for my purchase. Can someone explain to me why this happened and confirm that you will rectify your mistake and refund me the difference between member and non-member price for this product.
