Bought this at the chanel store looking for something light-medium coverage. I have never bought a foundation from chanel and this has to be one of my new favorite foundations. The scent smells like luxury, similar to their high end perfumes, but its very subtle and not super strong. The finish is smooth, sheer, and very hydrating. I don’t even need to apply primer with this, after 12 hours of wearing, my pores still looked so smooth. I swatched this on my face just to show how it makes my skin glow. This is a high end foundation that is WORTH the money.

This is a great, middle-of-the-road foundation formula that would suit most skin types. I'm shade B20, which does fall perfectly in the centre of the neutral scale. It's neither too creamy, nor too slippy and does impart an incredibly natural, satin finish. It'll cover up redness or discoloration easily while still letting your skin breathe and it doesn't look heavy or mask-like. I find it has good longevity. When I had combination skin, it neither drew attention to any dry patches, nor made me look like a oil slick by mid-afternoon. Now that my skin has dried out considerable due to Tretinoin use, this formula still suits me very well so long as I prepare with several hydrating layers beforehand. I really enjoy using this. This product was first recommended to me by a Myer Store (Perth) CHANEL staff member, many years ago. I have been using it ever since. Only once (over a year ago) did I stray and use another brand. I did not like the texture and feel of the other brand and quickly returned to Chanel. Unfortunately, the Myer Store didn't have this Healthy Glow in stock. So I went to DJs and purchased it there. This year, happily for me, Myers had it in stock. I recommend both the Healthy Glow and Myers to friends and family. Thank you to the lovely sales assistant (?Jane)who helped me.
I agree with the other review that said that it doesn't stay. I only had it on for like 2 hours but it faded on my face. It's Autumn, so I'm not even that oily and the temps aren't hot. Also any time I accidentally touched my face, it got all over my fingers and erased the foundation. I get that light foundations usually don't have the chemicals that make matte foundations more transfer-resistant, but I shouldn't have to make sure nothing touches my face even the slightest bit all day, not if you claim to be long-wearing.It also just didn't look nice enough regardless of its flaws to be worth the price. Chanel should have renamed this as Tinted Moisturiser, or some tinted moisturisers would even find this unfair because they have more coverage than this Chanel Les Beiges. I purchased BD01 and I barely see anything on my face under natural light. It looked much brighter when I tested on my hand and jawline in the store maybe the strong light around the mirror misled. Now Bourke Street store said I cannot refund this because I opened it. Such a waste of money!! If you have dry skin like me and want a hydrating foundation, try NARS Light Reflecting Foundation instead

I'm on my 2nd bottle of this foundation and I rarely buy something twice as I'm always looking for my next holy grail. So that's a statement! It's that good! It's pricey, yes but I always find myself reaching for it over my other many foundations because it always makes my dry mature skin look good. And isn't that why we wear foundation? It's a natural finish with a slight glow and a subtle blurring effect. Not overly dewy or greasy at all. I think any skin type could wear this but it does contain fragrance if that's a deal breaker. Chanel doesn't always have the best shade range but I was able to find a good shade match in this formula. I consider this a light but buildable coverage. Try it. It's worth the price.
