This is my third purchase of the Chanel loose powder. I’ve tried others, but always come back to this one I’ve been using for years. It’s so finely milled, just sets the makeup so well and looks great natural as well as over foundation. It’s not on the matte side, nor the shiny side, just a beautiful and natural satin like finish. It feels great on the skin like I’m not wearing anything, and has long staying power, which is a big plus in the humid climate where I live. The pot is huge, lasts well over a year with daily use and looks beautiful on my vanity. Always very satisfied with this Chanel loose powder. I have been using this for years. I use Color 10 and 12 depends on stock level the day I buy. 10 is mostly suitable for summer, 12 is more suitable for most skin tone. I have used many other brand loose powder and Chanel is my favourite. Powder texture is very fine and light. Most important is not dry at all. Skin feels and looks fabulously. 100% and thumbs up to recommend to all beautiful ladies.
This is the best powder I’ve ever used. I really wrote a review but had to do it for this product. And I have used some pretty high end products. Goes on and stays on so smooth. Makes my skin look and feel flawless and it feel so soft. It lasts pretty much all day. Really no need to add more in middle of the day. Highly recommend it. I purchased #30 — looks pretty translucent. This # might be the closest to translucent. I hope this helps. We pay do much for these product that it’s refreshing when a product exceeds expectations.
I have used drugstore and tons of high end powders. I just have tried to not use them because i am 54 and they say dont use powder but i just have too. This powder is worth the price. Its alot of powder and its silky and doesn't accentuate lines. I will say it doesnt smooth them out but i have tried all these powders that say they do and they dont either. I think once you find the right primer and foundation then this just will make it look more beautiful. I dodnt use the powder puff. I have olive skin tone with cool undertone. Finding foundation and powder is my least 'fun' thing. I always find to yellowish or cakey white pale. Finally found Chanel vitalumiere foundation. Try using neutral or no color settings powder from thrive and look cakey and fill the pores. Finally get this one and justified the purchase because it's worth every penny. It's a big size powder and only need 2 tap with blush to cover face and neck.Tips: pour the powder to the top lid small amount for the use. It will safe from wasting the product.
I have been buying this powder for at least 20-25 years. The packaging, with the internal insert, is the most efficient method of delivering just enough, and not too much, powder. I love the color I buy because it is never obvious. And I absolutely adore the way it looks because this is probably the best and most finely milled powder on the market. It goes on like a cloud, it doesn't sink into wrinkles or cake. And, I only have to buy one a year because it doesn't spill. I will pay more for this kind of quality and have been doing so for a long long time.
