I got this shade 602 Rose Urban. It’s pinkish when you see it visually, but it gives a little rosy and a tiny tiny bit of redish when you put it on. The texture is smooth and velvety, but it’s a little bit creamy when I put it on. Although not much it tends to sit on the face and you’ll have to blend it out a few more times to spread. When I blend it out it isn’t really even, and the pigment disappears. So then I have to put more. But when I put more my pores become prominent. It’s not long lasting and we’re talking about less than 30 minutes. The fragrance is okay, and it literally smells like rose petals. Now the brush… forget about it. I would NOT call this a pigmented blush- Chanel’s beauty perspective is more “understated beauty”- like I said it’s BUILDABLE- it creates a beautiful, natural “blushing from within” blush. But once again, I believe that’s what they INTENDED for this product so you need to be sure of the product’s claims before you criticize it for things it never claimed! With that being said- I wouldn’t be intimidated by any shade in the range, but if you think it might be too light for your skin tone that’s definitely a possibility because of the sheerness of this powder. I highly recommend swatching these blushes on your skin before purchasing- I thought I wanted certain shades online, but when I went up to the counter and swatched the colors I felt differently and ended up going for a different shade in the range that was totally not on my radar! I think it’s important to see the product in person, and to touch it and swatch the shade with a luxury tag price REGARDLESS- I find shades are not always accurate online, so before you invest make sure you get a good look at the whole range because this isn’t a blush that most people can pick up multiple shades of! With all that being said, Chanel’s blush hits (and exceeds) all the “mandatories” when it comes to a luxury price tag, so I would highly recommend to anyone looking to make their first purchase from the Chanel Beauty range.

There’s nothing more luxurious than Chanel makeup! I’m a huge fan of their blush, and have been for years. When I was in my college years I worked in a department store cosmetics department and used to save up just to buy Chanel Blushes to add to my collection. There’s just something special about the classic Chanel compact and the product inside is just as nice! The blush I have pictured is discontinued I believe, it’s #44 Narcisse, which is a cool toned, light satin pink. I also own Rose Bronze, Nude and several more but those are my top faves! This blush is worth the price tag in my opinion, it’s so smooth and the colors are so well curated. The product seems to last a long time, too! Overall, highly recommend!

What can I say about Chanel? This powder blush is so luxurious! First- the case is solid, with a himge and latch that snap in a lovely way. and it looks fab in my hand, very bougie. the brush in the compact has silky smooth bristles that pick up and deposit the color easily, without streaks or blobs. The blush itself is heavily pigmented, but due to its superfine texture deposits on your skin evenly and is buildable and blendable. It never settles into creases or pores and looks natural and fresh and lasts forever without fading ornrubbing off. it is lightly fragranced.

For $45 and from Chanel, I have high expectations. Unfortunately, this was the worst blush I've ever tried. Even in a sufficiently deep rose tone on my light-medium skin, I couldn't get even a hint of this to show on my face. I kept trying to add more, and every time I'd take my soft sigma blush brush and try to pick up some product, it acted like the opposite end of a magnet: the blush would crumble and fall out of the compact, ending up everywhere BUT the brush (and the other brushes I tried, just to see). The pigmentation is close to non-existent. I expected a light, natural flush (compared to super pigmented liquid blushes) but it added absolutely nothing to my coloration. Very disappointing from a brand I love.

I have the newly released Ombre, which is a gorgeous pinky-brown nude type of mat shade. I heard people saying it is too mat and flat, but I would disagree. It looks very natural on the skin, and it does not call attention. It is a great blush for everyday looks that won't interfere with any lip color. I also have the Rose Ecrin, and that is more of a peachy pink, which again is very understated, but you can build up. I don't see much difference between the old and new formulation, but that is my two cents. I have very smooth, clear skin for reference, so I don't have issues with textures. Lovely, classic packaging, great selection of colors, and considering fairly reasonably priced if I compare it to Sisley, another favorite line. I laughed at the review of someone comparing Chanel packaging to anything sold at Target or Walmart. That is a joke and a display of not knowing what simple, elegant design means.

I walked around Ulta for an hour trying to find a new blush since my Marc Jacobs broke and I was close to giving up. The Ulta rep asked if I needed help and she recommended this blush. Omg how did I not know about this sooner. I use Chanel skincare and foundations and they are staples. This blush is now a staple of mine as well. It's actually fun to put it on. It's hard to explain. It goes on like butter. It's so smooth. Stays on all day unlike the Laura Miercer that the powder is so loose, when you put it on it practically falls off your cheeks. I am obsessed with this Chanel blush. I highly recommend.

Soft powder

The texture is very soft with finely milled pearl similar to the Hourglass pressed powders. It has a "lit from within" look thats not going to emphasize textute. I got it in the color Jersey which is between a rose and warm nutmeg. The blush is a light wash of color that can be built up, but its not designed for vibrancy. Great for those who want a natural blush thats not shimmery or completely matte. I find the color and texture true to luxury makeup. It has longevity, and stays on my skin through an 8 hour work day.If youre not into subtle formulas then this isnt for you. There are more vibrant blushes that costs a fraction of the price. If you enjoy luxury makeup or like ultra milled baked powder then this could be an option.
