Chanel Rouge Coco Flash - Hydrating Vibrant Shine Lip Colour - 82 Live

I have been using for a while. But I am recently, slightly obsessed with Chanel and decided to give it a try. And I must say I LOVE IT!! First of all, the packaging is impeccable. Elegant and classic, with its signature black and gold tube. I like how they put the Chanel logo on the top transparent window which let you see through the color inside. I doubt it's very useful if you have several tubes of these of similar colors. But this is my first and only tube for now so I cannot verify that. It does feel a little smaller than all my other lipsticks though. At $42 a tube, I had expected it to be the same size as all my other full size lipsticks. So I was a little disappointed there. Although it's technically a lipstick, it feels very moisturizing on the lips once you put it on. The color is on the sheer side (which I like) and somewhat buildable. It's not a long-lasting lipstick so you might need to re-apply every couple hours, or more if you eat/drink often. I am a little torn between this and my old pal Dior (which seems to give me more bang for the buck). But for now, I will just enjoy it.

I was looking for a lipstick which did not turn ultra bright, depending on lighting, by computer/mobile phone digital cameras during conference calls. I visited a Chanel counter and asked an assistant to help me try on a couple of lipsticks and then view on my mobile. She was highly surprised how the camera colour changed as we approached a window. This particular lipstick was best viewed on a digital camera in various lighting for me.Having said this, on my face the lipstick was a little dull for me and required heavier blusher to compensate. It all depends on whether you are working from home conferencing, or will be on site physically meeting people.

Maybe in other colors it lasted a little longer, but in Boy unfortunately it did not have. The packaging is simple as befits the brand. Unfortunately I lost it after a while, I did not use it much. my first expensive lipstick💄.

Awful!

I was so excited to buy this cause of the color. I got shade, 54 Boy. When I say it feels like sandpaper on your lips and leaves them feeling dehydrated, that's an understatement. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Not worth the money at all! It's seriously so awful. Not soothing, not creamy, nothing good about it. Awful! Awful! Awful! Trust me, I know what I'm talking about too!!

Hydrating, easy going and daring lip colour.

I'm relatively fair in complexion with blonde hair, and I really love the 68 Ultime colour. I feel like it's a classic red, perhaps slightly more on the brownier red side. Red lipstick will always be high impact, even when it's relatively sheer like this one. I also used it with a matching lip liner to build it up a bit more, although I much prefer using it as solo product. I even applied it without a mirror, can you believe it?! Who am I?! The texture of the product makes me think the more neutral shades would be a no-brainer day-to-day choice.Ok so, the jojoba is working hard in Coco Flash. This is the most hydrating lipstick I've ever used. It's easy going with the potential to be ramped up. Well, maybe it's not technically a lipstick... it's definitely not a lip gloss where hair grips to your mouth and you end up with gloss half way across your face... and it's way more bold and pigmented than a lip balm. Whatever it is, it's the opposite of the matte options out there and I didn't need to apply (and reapply) lip balm to keep my lips from cracking. I managed a whole day and evening (applying every three hours or so, especially after eating or drinking) without wanting to scrub it off my lips and start over.The packaging is chic as always with a playful transparent lid for those with a keen eye.

I would not buy this again

I am a longtime Pat McGrath and Armani fan. These remind me of a slightly more shiny Divinyl lip shine but more sheer. On the plus side, these are not so highly scented you can taste it like YSL and this formula is incredibly moisturizing. On the downside these are no where near as pigmented as pictured even after several coats. Mind you, I wanted a more sheer wash of color but I get more color from the Elf Fat Oils!Glad I got it but not worth the full price. I haven't purchased a drug store lip in sometime but there is nothing special here and just packaging wise, this does not feel luxurious.At the end of the day, this a very mid product. The only thing special is the name and that is just not enough for me.

Love how moisturizing! Versatile lip product!

Purchased color, Boy, after seeing this on Instagram. Surprised tube/stick was so small. Also, surprised color was so natural. (Looked like it was more pink on Influencers.) Love how moisturizing it is with some shine and just a hint of shimmer (I hate shimmer and flummery product generally)! I can layer other colors over it for extra tint or just use as-is like a shiny lip balm! This is my new favorite lip product! 💋

Lovely Colors but way too sheer

I bought Emotion and ferveur as a birthday present to my 70+ years birthday. The colors are similar but perfect for me. I should have read the description more fully and not relied on the photos of the models wearing what looked like rich color on their lips. I don’t know how they got the lipstick to build to such richness because it goes on like a gloss and did not build color on my lips, no matter how many times I applied and blotted it. It’s very sheer which is nice if that’s what you’re looking for. I finally applied it over my NARS Anna color which is a more matte lipstick with staying power and it’s “okay” that way but I’m not sure that it will last because of its slipperiness. So be aware. Pretty but sadly not worth it...returned

I loved the color on the stick and it is pretty as it id IMMEDIATELY applied but the color is SO much lighter than it looks on the stick and is EXTREMELY thin. Very soft feeling but you'll need to reapply it every hour if you even make it that far. I found almost the EXACT color flr half the price in both clinic and mac so I find it not worth it for the amount of times it needs to be reapplied and i expected it to be a little bolder of a pigment. I would've kept it if it even had one of those two elements that are most important to me but if you don't mind that then definetly get it. It is pretty. Sorry they wouldn't let me add a picture.
