I have been using Chanel for many years and was excited to try this foundation when first released. I have to say I was very disappointed and it now just sits on the shelf. My skin looked dull and I certainly didn't feel any of the benefits advertised. Because of the this, I felt Chanel wasn't as perfect as I had always thought, and it prompted to me to discover other luxury brands.

I was on a look out for a long term subtle foundation that would also help my skin as getting older is not joke! I decided to purchased it even tho the price point is crazy high, I wanted to invest a little better on foundation for my skin along with the skincare. I trust this will last me a while and Esp during this pandemic since I don’t have anywhere fancy to go, I figured I can use the money I would have wasted on and put it towards self care. I’m a shade 7 - 8 in Armani foundation, B 40 here works well for me, it’s not very cakey ans blends really nicely. It’s got a light to medium coverage and very buildable. I would not recommend ChAnel Sublimage cream foundation if you have oily skin or even combo, it’s very creamy and greasy imho. L’essence is perfect for me.

This gives the skin a gorgeous natural radiance and is very lightweight on the skin. It has medium to buildable coverage as my darks spots still peak through. The best way to apply this foundation is with a brush if you want the best coverage. It is lightly fragranced and has some great ingredients which definitely justifies the price! I am thrilled that the shade I bought matches me perfectly! I couldn’t even keep myself from looking in every single mirror I passed by!

The texture is really unusual: a cocktail of dry oil, liquid creamy serum and pigment. It is applied simply, shaded without problems. You don't even need to get the brush attached to the product, your fingers are fine too, and it is easier to wash them. Does not accentuate pores, does not clog up in peeling (this happens with many tonal oil-based). Disguise - low-medium. It can be layered, but the density will not significantly increase from this. Beautiful & Luxurious

I absolutely adore this foundation. It is light to medium coverage that gives you a beautiful glow from within. It's not massively long wearing ( I have combination skin) but it lasts a decent 6-8 hours. It gives an incredible finish that seems to melt into your skin. When I take my make up off, my skin looks and feels better. If you like full coverage like Estée Lauder Doublewear I personally wouldn't recommend this as it is medium coverage at best. However, it has a beautiful way of smoothing your face. Expensive but in my opinion worth the splurge.

Best foundation I have ever had in my life

The best liquid foundation I have ever had, I am a dry to combination skin person and have pigment issues, this foundation has a medium coverage but is enough to cover up and keep my skin moisture all day long. One good thing to raise is that this foundation does not oxidises. It keeps you the same look as you walked out of the door in the morning all day long, highly recommended for dry to combination skin.

Best foundation on the market!!

The best foundation on the market, in my opinion. Great coverage, dewy/natural glow and lasts all day. Leaves skin soft and radiant, acting as a serum as well as make up. Love, love, love!!

Chanel Serum Foundation

I really like this foundation and the scent too. It applies nicely with the brush and goes on evenly. I use it every day for work. It is expensive though!

Excellent Foundation

I have used many brands and versions of foundation over the years and I find this is one of the best. Managed to get an excellent colour match. I use a fluffy foundation brush for a light daytime coverage & the supplied brush if I want a heavier foundation. It stays in place all day regardless of the finish. Although expensive it has lasted ages & I would definitely purchase again
