I am a big believer in spending less on makeup and more on skincare. Drugstore makeup has come such a long way and a lot of times performs on par or in some cases better than luxury brands. That’s how I feel about this Chanel powder foundation. Of course the packaging is high end with their signature logo and the actual product comes encased in a CC velvet pouch which is a nice touch. I was slightly disappointed when I opened it because there were powder fragments surrounding the compact. I would expect better with a $60 foundation powder. But that’s not a dealbreaker. Absolutely Amazing!!!

I rarely write reviews but this product was worth it. I have tried so many foundations I've lost count. Liquid, powder spray etc. While coverage may have been ok my skin never looked polished. With this foundation my skin looks and feels smooth, my pores disappear and it gives me a no make up look that I love. I chose B30 because I have fair skin but don't like to look to washed out. Also, this product cuts my make up application time in half because there is no wrong way to apply. Some reviews mention there is not a lot of coverage but I find that I can just apply more in the areas I want more coverage and it works like a charm.

Buildable coverage

They re-formulated the bare minerals pro foundation I wore for years, enter this gem. After trying so many options, I ended up with this. The color is spot on and easily buildable. Not a lot of fall out! So easy to blend. Much more expensive, but a great product. Will definitely keep buying. As another person stated, if between shades, go with the lighter formula, really brightens you up. I'm b30 for reference and used to wear light natural 09 in BM. Love this product

Buildable, Natural Smooth coverage

I’ve been wearing Les Beiges pressed powder 70 for many years but realized that I prefer a less bronzy, more matte finish. I’m African American with caramel tones and some hyperpigmentation and this powder is great. Light, barely noticeable fragrance, easy apication with nice sponge and medium to full coverage that’s buildable. Huge thanks to Nordstrom’s rapid free shipping!

CHANEL IS THE BEST MAKEUP

I am so happy that Ulta started selling Chanel makeup because if not I would not have ever tried it. I've switched over every piece of makeup that I wear from the primer to the lips to Chanel! It is hands down the BEST makeup I've ever put on my 40+ year old face and I've tried all the high end makeups. This powder foundation is great! It's such a beautiful natural coverage and makes my face look flawless but not like I have a bunch of makeup on. It is so silky and stays on ALL DAY LONG! BUY IT ALL!!!!

Could have packaged better

I've been using this foundation powder for years! Love it! Provides great coverage. Only thing i didnt like was that it could have been packaged better especially using bubble wrap. Upon arrival, a piece of the powder foundation broke off in tiny pieces.

Feels heavy and has strong smell of perfume

It’s very fine powder. I like that you could barely see it on the face. For reference I don’t use liquid foundation and it provides medium coverage, which was enough. But I didn’t keep it for few reasons. It has strong smell of perfume. For those who still enjoys perfume in their make up I’d suggest to do your own research. I’m trying to avoid any make up with perfume. Also it felt heavy. I couldn’t wait to wash my face. So this no for me.

My Holy Grail Powder Foundation

I've been using this since it came out and before that I used the older formulation. If you like powder foundations definitely try this! I have it in two colors. My skin is combination and I love that this works for both oily and dry skin. I recommend going with the lighter color if you are not sure which to choose. I find that several of the shades would work for me but the light one brightens and looks the best even though it is slightly lighter than my skin. This foundation smooths over and blurs imperfections. It melts into my skin and looks like foundation, not powder. It's a good base for powder products and it lasts a long time but I can't tell exactly when it starts to fade away because it is so seamless. It does have a floral scent and it's strong in the compact but barely noticeable once you apply it, but if fragrance bothers you, this isn't for you.

Exactly what I was looking for!! Everyday powder foundation. I use it under tinted moisturizer everyday. Prefect for mom on the go. My only complaint is the color is hard to match online. It goes on darker. I would recommend going a shade lighter.

Still Not Sure

I was directed to this very pricey makeup by the sales person. I typically use Bare Minerals Bare Pro (?). I told her what I was looking for in a makeup. I have rosacea especially on my nose and that is my main concern. She tried several shades on me and found one we were both satisfied with.I have been using this but not sure it really covers the redness like I would like for it to. She told me she uses this same Chanel makeup and also has rosacea but her face was flawless and well covered, so I don't know. She also said not to use a powder on top but I do anyway to help cover the redness. I do like the way it feels on my face but I would not say full coverage.Also, it seems small so not sure how long it will last.
