As with all the Chantecaille products I have tried, this lip definer is beautiful, elegant and performs so well. I love it, I feel happy with the ingredients, it lasts so well. I will be picking up more shades and trying the lip chic lipsticks next.

I purchased the Chantecaille Lip Pencil in the shade Nuance. It’s not quite the shade I was looking for as it’s more peachy and less nude than I wanted. Aside from the colour it’s a great wooden lip pencil. It doesn’t tug at the lips during application and it lasts well.

Both the eyeliner and lipliner I purchased from Chantecaille were disappointing. Every time I need to sharpen them, the tip of the product breaks and falls off. (I use good, clean sharpeners.) A lot of the product is wasted, therefore my money is wasted. For the price of both products, I expected more. Once the eyeliner is properly sharpened, it glides on smoothly, and the lasting power is pretty good. It is a shame, because besides the issue of breaking off, they are good products.

First product I got form the Brand. Went for the color Nuance for when I want a nude lip and it works fine, goes a little more pink than I thought it would, but most of my nudes are on the pink side anyway. The pencil is very soft, so very comfortable to apply! Wish it came with a brush and a sharpener like kevin aucoin for example, but its not a big problem!
This lip liner for being luxury didn’t give me that experience. It’s a new shade of pink but it broke every time I tried to sharpen it before it got sharp. I contacted customer service and all they said is it works best if you use our sharpener. Poor product and poor customer service. Unfortunately I won’t be shopping here after this. For a company valued at 600 million you’d think they would do better. I will be giving my business to Chanel since they actually care about there customers.
I bought the shade Nuance recently and I really like it. It is a wooden pencil that is easily sharpened. The formula is relatively longlasting. The shade Nuance is really good on fair skin. It's a pale peach colour. My only complaint is that it is a very short pencil for the price you pay for it.
I purchased this lip liner in the coral shade as I was finding it difficult to find such a shade in other brands and I've always found that Chantecaille can't be beat when it comes to the range of colours in their lip products generally. This shade is definitely on the bright side and extremely pretty, the perfect combination of pink and orange, which I feel will look great in the summer and really compliment tanned skin. It certainly has staying power as both a lip liner and also when applied as a wash of colour over entire lips. My only small criticism is that the pencil could be slightly softer, which would make application smoother.
I love, love, love this lip definer. I have been using it for years and, to this day, I haven't found anything that has a better consistency or more pigmented color. The only downside is that it's not the most long-lasting product but with a little lip balm on top it does last for about 3 hours. Chantecaille Lip Definer is amazing!
I’m writing specifically about color “Desire”. On Chantecaille’s website it’s defined as “classic red”, which is exactly what I wanted. She released a new red called “Passion” but it’s either on preorder; backorder; sold out or not available. Anyway, I always look at Net-a-Porter for swatches because they are more accurate than the specific websites themselves and extremely helpful if ordering from Nordstrom; Saks; etc that doesn’t even provide swatches or descriptions. They called it a “firey coral” so that worried me. I received it yesterday and it’s definitely not red! The color on the pencil looks rose, but it’s actually a berry color.
