Chantecaille Lip Veil Elderberry

I have used Chantecaille Lip Veil Lipstick before purchasing the Honeypot color. I wanted a lipstick that was not bright with color but more natural looking in a pinkish shade. That is exactly what the color Honeypot is. It is a sheer pink color with a very slight brownish hue and very natural looking with an added shine. I have given it 3 stars because it is not perfect for me. I am older and could use a bit more of the pink color in the lipstick. I can use it since I have offset this problem by increasing the blush on my cheeks and the effect is very nice. I recommend this product and color for an individual with a fairish complexion. It is a lovely color.

These lip veil are so easy and comfortable to wear, just beautiful and classy. The colors are very versatile and adjustable; they don't come off too pigmented right off the bat which means you can either go really sheer or heavier coverage of color depending on your look and/or mood. The cause behind it all makes it that much better! I am a medium olive-yellow skin tone and Laurel is too light and cool-ish on its own, but paired with a lip liner it's perfect, and Wild Begonia is the perfect everyday pink. Simply gorgeous.

I’m not a frequent lipstick wearer and prefer a more muted lip look so I purchased the shade Laurel. It’s quite a dusky pink on my lips but quite subtle very much like a veil of colour rather than fully opaque. The texture is beautiful, hydrating basically like a lip balm and it’s lasts much longer than expected. It’s extremely comfortable to wear and I have very dry lips. The packaging is just stunning it closes with a magnetic snap and looks so chic. As with all Chantecaille the products are superb quality and I highly recommend this is you need a subtle hydrating lipstick if you prefer a bolder colour they are proton muted.
