This spreader is amazing! Don't be fooled by the title - it is a professional spread because it is truly meant for someone who may need to use it every day. It is huge! A landscaper's dream for sure, especially with all the accessories it comes with too.

The Chapin Profession Turf Spreader came packaged well, with all the accessories. It did take some time to put together, but the instructions weren't too hard to follow. The unit is lightweight. Wheels are pretty solid and handles bumpy areas easily.

I received the Chapin 8401c 80-pound Professional Turf Spreader to try out and my husband absolutely loves it! It arrived at just the right time! We were getting ready to spread grass seed and fertilizer for the garden. This thing holds so much and it spreads the seeds and fertilize so easy that it's no job at all! Perfect size and shape and easy to use for anyone!

My Chapin 8400C Professional Spreader with is heavy duty, but doesn't weigh a ton. The stainless steel frame if very sturdy. Everything about this spreader is perfect for me. I have a half acre and the high capacity hopper keeps me moving and not having to stop and refill as often and the functionality of it spot on. I am super glad I have this spreader in my shed.

Once assembled, my wife and I did our normal spring lawn fertilization, each taking turns with this spreader and our previous one. First off, the conversion chart that tells you what setting to put the spreader on for what brand of fertilizer is way off. My wife ran over the whole yard at setting 16 per the chart and it barely shot out any product. Way less than we typically see with the other spreader. So we had to go over the yard again. My wife was not happy about that. She also said that the spreader was way bulkier and harder to push through the thicker parts of the lawn. But it did spread the product better with no clogging. I got CHAPIN 8401C 80-Pound Professional Turf Spreader and OMG definitely the best it is not only professional but a high-quality/premium product that works extremely well. It is so innovative that it comes with a grille so seeds say in, and a rain cover to protect products from getting wet. I am so satisfied/happy to own this product and definitely the best.
This turf spreader is amazing! It is a lot bigger than what I thought it was going to be. Although it took about an hour for my husband to get it put together, it was well worth it. The wheels are a decent size and it is pretty light. I like the fact that it came with a cover for the spreader. We like to spread grass seed and weed feed when it is raining out so this will protect the seed from the elements. I would definitely recommend this product but Remember that nothing is put together, so it will take a bit to get everything set up.
We got this turf spreader to use at our hunting lease to plant . It works awesome for what we need it for. It sure makes planting so much easier and it works out perfect. It's lightweight and so easy to use. Its also made very durable. Most definitely recommend this product .
