Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter - 2.5 Fair

I hate to love this. It's not cheap and with this type of applicator, it will expire faster than i would like. Still, it really is beautiful! I am always stuck wearing matte foundations because oily skin can't survive with any foundation that says glowy or dewy. I have given up on my quest to find one that will stay on.my oily skin. If you know one, i would love to know! I have always loved that glowy look but was never able to attain it unless using highlighters on matte foundation. This highlighter/primer works well for that. Mix it up with your foundation, use it with a foundation brush, pat it on with your fingers or on top of your foundation. I use mine underneath and pat it out with my fingers. Here I used the one as a typical highlight- meaning in the areas you are supposed to apply except I used it as a base under my magical Monika Blunder Cover foundation- If you have not tried this foundation you should NOW! However I wanted a beautiful, natural glow from within radiance for my wedding ceremony makeup (since I'm doing it myself)..and boy did this not disappoint! I tried The watermelon dew drops, which gave a pretty glow under my makeup that looks natural- but I wanted more. I tried the Danessa myric yummy- which was stunning alone, but left me disappointed under my makeup. This product, scared me originally because of the color when I put it on my face but trust the process! And smooth out. I like this product a lot and use it almost every day. The only thing that doesn't make it a solid staple is the fact that you cannot use this product thoroughly without powder. Unless you use it as a liquid highlight (which I honestly do not recommend), your face doesn't become shiny or glowing, it becomes greasy. I enjoy using it but when I do, it feels like an ordeal requiring powder with every use. I don't use powder with every look because I like the natural-glowing look, which I thought I would be able to achieve with Hollywood Filter, as everybody and their grandmas says this. Feels oily slippery and doesn’t do a lot

I got this product after it was recommended that mums love it. I wear a full face of makeup and never feel like I have anything on my face. Days off I usually wear a bb cream so I thought this would be like a bb cream but better and fresherI’m really disappointed I never spend a lot of money on makeup so this price tag was hefty for me. I feel like I am wearing a oily cheap sunscreen and my foundation over the top just doesn’t set it. On its own I jjst look oily nkt dewy. I feel like I can’t touch my face coz it feels wet. It doesn’t cover my uneven skin tone at all. My mco beauty cheap foundation and bbcream works and feels lighter and better than this. I have pretty oily skin, so wearing this alone is a no go. It made every texture, spot, line, pore, etc on my skin so much more prominent. I wore this under my regular foundation (along with the bobbi brown primer) and my makeup looks amazing. I think it's great under foundation to give a little extra coverage and some glow, but does not work on it's own, at least for my skin type. Also, the mini is the size of a nail polish bottle. SO small for the price. I got the mini to test it out before buying the full size, but I think this is way too expensive for what you get. I think it's worth trying out, but not a must have, especially if you don't plan to wear it as a foundation. So glowy gorgeous

I received a sample of this product in two shades, number 3 and number 4. Both shades actually work well for my skin tone however I feel like the shade number 4 is a better match. The Flawless Filter is literally exactly what the name suggests, a filter for your skin that makes it look flawless. While it doesn’t actually have a huge amount of coverage, it gives my skin a stunning glow and helps to even my skin tone a bit. I wear it alone or under foundation if I want a fuller coverage look. When worn alone the glow is more obvious and almost gives that “sunset hour” look to my skin. Under foundation it just gives a more muted subtle glow but it looks so pretty.
