Chauvet Hurricane Haze 4D Haze Machine

I like the way it spreads the haze through out the room. Also.how it's portable. The only downside is that the haze comes out straight instead of going up.

I’ve always bought fog machines for my parties, and I’d have to constantly fog out the room, but people can get annoyed with too much fog. But with my new hazer, it runs non stop with no problems, and you can always see your rays of lights. Very pleased with this product.

I invested In this hazer after doing YouTube reviews and actually seeing it at the chauvet dj road show. Maaan the output on this little thing is excellent. Fillied up an entire ballroom and didn’t interfere with the fire systems. I was impressed. Don’t let the size fool you it really has an high output.

I've been dealing with crap Haze machines lately and this thing is a breath of fresh air. It keeps a steady stream of haze flowing. My only regret is that the tank is not bigger and I have to lug around a jug of fluid. Other than that, it's great! - Solid Purchase.

Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 4D Machine

Overall:This haze machine will put out the haze. I've run it for a total of 12 hours between 2 gigs and I still have half a tank of fluid left! I keep it on time delay and it keep the haze in the air. I've run it on continuous for about 5 minutes and it was thick in the venue. The haze makes your lights pop and brings a whole new element to any lighting rig. Well worth the investment! It takes a while to warm up, but once its ready... watch out. I would suggest running it on a 5 minute delay.

Great hazer at great price

It won't compete with the much bigger versions - but it will haze up a good sized room quickly. I used it in a great room in a mansion - probably 50 feet by 30 feet with 25 foot ceilings - only took a few minutes to get the right haze for film.

Great product, Easy to learn and operate.

My First hazer and pleased so far. Easy to maintain, learning to use and operating the machine was simple. The timer remote works great. Using it on small to medium venues and it outputs plenty to fill a room with a good cloud of haze. Ran 2 events on less than a gallon of juice. It does make a little noise, but is easily covered over by music or other sounds, could really only hear it during a speaker. I do Recommend getting the FCQ fluid for keeping it in good running order. Would definitely recommend and should i need another, will be looking at the same model.

Beast for indoors. Haven't tried it outside yet. I usually don't run the haze intensity above 50% and it cranks

Not the cheapest haze option, but a solid design with good output and lifespan

I've had (4) Chauvet haze machines before this one. First, the Hurricane Haze 2, then the HH 2D. Those both lasted a while, though I don't think ANY non-professional haze/smoke machine lasts very long, even with occasional cleaning. I never fully liked the physical design of the 2/2D, though they worked well. The haze output tube runs sideways into the airflow chamber and dribbles inside the hazer, making a mess and rust. After my 2D died, I bought an HH 4D and it seemed to be a much better design. The haze output tube drops vertically into the airflow chamber, so leaking isn't an issue. The air is moved by a typical axial fan as opposed to the "squirrel cage" fan used in the 2/2D. Both work fine, though the 4D's might help contribute to a slightly smaller size. It worked well for several years, but died about a year ago. At that time, I bought an HH1D to save money and it's still working, but its output just doesn't compare to the 2D or 4D. There are times and certain rooms where I need more output than the 1D can provide, so I dug out my credit card and invested in another 4D. The 4D has great output for all but the largest stages, its size is very reasonable, and it even seems to use much less fluid than the 1D. At $22+ per gallon, that's a very good thing. Overall, the 4D isn't cheap, but it works well and seems to last for a reasonable time.
