I purchased this 2 years ago for the arrival of my little girl, was adamant because I rocked my other 2 without a rocking chair and it killed my back, so treated myself with this chair.The chair has a squeak within a few weeks. No big deal. But if we fast forward to before she’s 12 months, we have actually had to cut into the fabri. Underneath the base of the chair so we can can the wd40 to reach the areas. Today it still sits in my loungeroom, the leg rest on one side completely broke so we can’t put the leg rest up at all. And the squeak is like nothing I’ve ever heard. I’d love to be able to use it still to soothe my kids when they wake or are upset…. But the squeaking & creaking is just brutal. I wish I could upload a recording.I’m so upset because I waited ... Love, love this nursery chair! The price is worth it for the comfort it provides and the easiness to use it both during day and night. My partner loves it too. The colour is beautiful and the recliner at the glimpse of a button is amazing. No need to push to close it due to the electric function that does it for you. I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to having it for many years to come.

We’ve had our recliner for 3 months now. To bring with it was delayed for over an additional 6 weeks after pre-ordering one and with us anticipating it would arrive well before our baby was born, in the end arriving a day before the birth and meaning I was already in hospital and not able to help with the assembly. The arm rests are quite hard and in an awkward position, which means I cannot comfortably breastfeed without the use of additional pillows. Now, after just 3 months, the chair creaks every time we rock in it which is frustrating and an annoying sound. Positively, the gliding ability is very good. I’m not sure I would recommend given our experiences.

I love this chair so much. I was in a lot of pain during pregnancy and post birth (pelvic girdle) and this chair was so comfortable! I’ve now been sitting in it for many hours a day, everyday for the last 2 years and it’s still super comfortable. I often rest my head against the side and have a nap. I have a couple of things they should improve. Firstly it’s really hard to fold away, you need quite a lot of tummy strength, I was stranded in the chair for the first 3 months postpartum as it was too painful to press down. Secondly you get stuck sometimes having the recliner button only on one side. Lastly is you have to be quite big and heavy to get it to lay flat. It’s still comfy if you don’t lay flat though.
Chelsea electric recliner glider was amazing, actually I can rate it with 5 stars for comfort, design and customer service. The only issue I had is regarding safety (maybe 1 or 2 stars). After 3 months of using it, we had an incident of electric spark/ignition in the chair whilst my 6yo son was sitting and swivelling on it, it was terrifying. When we checked the the possible cause, we noticed that the electric wires were damaged and exposed. Luckily no was hurt. I sent an email to the customer service and they contacted me right away to check if everyone is okay. They also told me that they gonna send me a new power cord to replace the damaged wires.Hopefully the incident won't happen again.
Lovely chair and super trendy addition to the nursery, no faults, just not the right size chair for me - it’s not made for shorter people.The seat part is too long for me (hip to knee) so when you sit down with baby in arms you cant shuffle back into the seat so that your back is supported. You end up only halfway on the seat & then trying to awkwardly lean back or arch your back to touch the backrest. When I’m babyless & can shuffle back to sit in the chair properly (so my back is touching) my feet don’t even touch the ground. So it’s very difficult to get in and out of. I’m 163cm tall for reference. Hubby bought online as a present but it doesn’t work for me. I’d rather try some in person for our next baby.
We recently just received our Chelsea chair and already in love with it. I was in between buying either the Quinn or this one, and after many reviews from other people’s comments, I’m so glad I chose this one. I actually love the firmness and how it supports your back. And it’s big enough for my 6’3 husband who is picky when it comes to chairs, and now thinking we should get another for the lounge room just for him 😂. Can’t wait to use it when bub arrives 😊 I might also add that shipping was fast and installation was as easy as 1 2 3. Worth every penny x

I enquired and it was confirmed that yep this was the date it would be shipped, so on that basis I placed my order. Well, that date came and went and no chair arrived, but my baby did and now I had a newborn at home and no where to feed her… I had to follow up multiple times across several weeks. At one stage I was given a tracking link to reassure me and then when the date on the tracking passed and still no chair, I was told I should ignore the tracking because it doesn’t correspond to the warehouse - well what is the point of even providing it?? Basically, if you purchase on pre-order and rely on that date, BEWARE!On to the chair itself. It’s a nice chair and is very comfortable but my god the CLUNK it makes when you push the leg rest in. It wakes my baby more often than it doesn’t, so I’m reluctant to recline when I’m there to settle her, even though this is the whole point of buying a recliner. You also need abs of steel to get the leg rest in, which I definitely did not have in the weeks after giving birth (or even now, 3 months post partum). I can’t imagine what it would be like after a C section. The chair also wobbles on the base if you jiggle your legs while reclined, which makes a sound that disrupts the baby you’re trying to settle.All around, it’s a beautiful looking chair and comfy to just sit in, but functionally lacking in some key areas and took way too long to arrive. I don’t think I’d bother with this chair/brand in the future.

Excellent quality chair. Fairly easy to assemble, comes in a fairly big box. Just need to slide the back to the rotating base and the side wings to the backing of the chair then you are done and ready to roll.Fabric we chose was a lovely grey and will match most of our furniture. Very comfy and the sliding mechanisms work well. We chose the Chelsea as we liked the side wings to rest our head while taking a nap or just chilling, first tried it at the Baby expo at Melb convention centre. It is currently in our nursing room but will move it to our lounge as a hang out chair.It is pricey but you get a quality product in the process. Order system was easily done online and order dispatched very quickly.Overall, would recommend for sure.
