Awesome gun. Breaks everything apart i have used it on. The highest thing I used it for was removing wheels of a vehicle which had a torque of 425 ft lbs. It did it no problem with the compressor set at 90 psi. It is very heavy though, and that's the only complaint I have. The outside is composite, but the main gun is cast.

I am Professional Automotive / light-duty diesel technician this gun is durable and cost effective. I use this Chicago Pneumatic impact wrench everyday and it does the job very well. I like the selector switch design I can change settings for what I need with one hand comfortably. This product feels powerful, comfortable and durable.

I'm a career mechanic over 35 years . As strong as any gun I've used in 2-300 dollar range . This ones a bargain , time will tell if its durable.(last two guns were Aircat's and both ran great till dropped and handle splits at molded seam)
I've used CP brand tools for years. Was never impressed with the power of their impacts. I encounter many difficult nuts and bolts and this impact does the job for me. It's light, powerful, and quiet. I've used Ingersoll Rand for years, but but I'm pleased with this CP. I would purchase again.
Im a heavy field mechanic , been using pneumatic tools for over 30 years. Ive used it on several fasteners , and no problems showing even on a 5/8 diameter bolt. I gave it 4 stars, because dont know how long this unit will last.
Im from tire shop and dealership background and I must say this is by far the best impact gun I've ever used. You dont need to settle for snap on etc.. This will get you just as far. Definitely recommend? -note make sure you lube all air tools every day!
It is completely my fault for not looking closely at this item on Home Essentials Direct as the picture itself is clearly the older model with a forward reverse lever on the back of the unit, disallowing one hand changing, unless you are great at holding and using the thumb or a finger of the holding hand to make the change. Also, it seems to be running at about 1/4 the power one might expect, I am returning it so I may get the later model.
Loads of power and speed. A little noisy and heavier than some air wrenches
The wrench itself is pretty darn hard to find where i live, but someone told me i could find it on here, and boy where they right. I gifted it to my Granpop for his tire shop, and haven't heard a complaint on it yet, and boy does he use it. Great product, and it sure is worth the price.
