Looks bland. I added woolies frozen peas corn and carrots to my meal as it looked very unappealing. It tastes very mustardy and a little sweet. Even though I could not find added sugar in the ingredients. It is a good size serving with plenty of chicken. I was excited to get this sample because of the price I did not want to be disappointed if I had made the purchase. Now I'm keen to try other flavours. It is a very filling meal. I had for lunch but would make for a good dinner when running short on time.

You had me at 41+ grams of protein. My son really liked that he could take this to Uni. In his words, super convenient and super tasty. Protein is the big sell at the moment and food manufacturers are leveraging this across so many food categories. He is into protein and spends more for food with high protein. It gets 5 stars because he would buy it again and he is fussy. Macro balanced is a definite plus.

Decent convenient meal. I must say once this item was heated in the microwave, and the plastic foil taken off the top, I was surprised to not be greeted by the 'serving suggestion'. That is the penne had taken on quite a bit of colour from mushrooms and/or stroganoff sauce leaving them with a dark durum wheat/high fibre look to them and not appetising. However, after stirring was pleasantly surprised as the dish had some flavour but also some umami driving me to eat the remainder - and satisfaction in doing so.

Great high protein meal. I liked this. I use high protein meals sometimes after a gym session. This suits that target market perfectly. Seems pricey at $9 but this is about right for the market that this is aimed at. Warmed up perfectly, plastic was easy to peel off (unlike some others) and flavour was much better than expected. If you can get past the price or are a gym goer then this is much recommended. Thanks Bunch.

Good macros, not enough flavour. I regularly buy ready made meals to bring to work for lunch. I particularly look for meals high in protein with no or limited additives/preservatives. This meal has great macros. However I found it lacking in flavour. It could also just some veggies just for added colour/interest. Realistically I’d probably only buy this if it was on clearance. There are better options by the same brand.

Just ok... sorry. A high protein ready meal that is quick to cook, full of chicken & mushrooms, has my favorite pasta... what more to like??? Honestly, I was super excited to get to trial this meal... until I found it on the chilled shelf. It's vacumn packed I get it... but it looked like vomit (sorry).. If it wasn't for this trial.. i would definitely not have picked it up looking at it in the package. And even when its cooked, it looks nothing... and I mean nothing like the photo on the packaging... hilarious!!!Suprisingly large portion size when on a plate, the pasta a little al dente, but ok. This chicken stroganoff was delicious, creamy, a nice flavour though I would try to add a hint more mushroom or something with depth for flavour, it also had good sized and amount of chicken that was lovely and moist. I like that it is 41. 2g of protein for the serve as protein is important for many people. The pasta was cooked al dente however being wholemeal it was a little grainy though not too much but that is to be expected with wholemeal pasta. I'd suggest to the company that they should add vegetables like peas and carrots to bulk it up and add nutrition, but easily done enough by yourself at home. Tasty meal. I really enjoyed this handy meal. I liked the flavour and the chicken was nice and tender. I have since tried many more of the varieties in this range and most have been pretty good. I like that they are all high protein. I don't think that $9 is too expensive for this type of meal. There are other gym type meals on the shelf next to these ones that are price around the $12 mark. I will definitely buy these again.

No fuss meal for one. Some Strength Meals are in the deli and others in the freezer. This is a fresh meal and cost $9. 95. Vacuum sealed means the film is stuck to the meal but bubbles up to a balloon while cooking. The chicken was in big thick slices. Penne have a bit of bite which is common with wholemeal pastas but both the meat and pasta were cooked and soft enough. Had a good amount of meat to pasta and sauce. The creamy stroganoff sauce was tasty and a little tangy with the combination of Dijon, wine and onion. A nice meal, it’s quick to heat and has good nutritional values (as detailed on the front)

Classy, easy grub. I really like this product. Considering it's a pre-prepared meal it tastes great. It's like a nice takeaway. Easy and quick to heat up (I must admit I was confused whether to keep the foil on or not. You leave it on and it could be why it has such a great, moist, texture. The ingredients were tasty and authentic. Chicken stroganoff was a change, it was full of meat and I loved the mushrooms and the pasta. It's also very healthy, low calories and high protein content which keeps you feeling full for longer. It's got a good portion of dietary fibre but it is a little high on fat content and saturated fat as well. I really liked this meal and would definitely buy it again.
