We took these on a 8mile hike straight out of the box. 11 year old had no issues. Easy to put on, comfortable and at the end of the day still willing to put them back on.

My twins are lucky to not grow super fast out of shoes. This is our third round of boots and they are AMAZING! Every past pair has been handed down to a Cubscout to use for hikes! They all still look Amazing! Remember if your child wears a 3 in say Under Armour they may wear a 2 here.

Best boots ever! , my son just came back from a 5 day school trip with lots of hiking and they had some heavy rain , and he never got he’s socks wet! Kept him warm and dry!Awesome buy!

Durable so far, at least as durable as my five year old allows anything to be. She’s comfortable in them and has done a few mushroom hunts and hikes. She did manage to rip off the grommet for one of the draw cords, but she’s super hard on shoes.
I purchased these boots a while ago for my 6 year old son. We are a bug hiking family and we needed him to have the proper shoe and we made a great choice! Moosejaw makes purchase easy breezy, delivery as well, and the product is just overall good material, looks, and fit.
We love keen shoes and have many pairs but this boots just didn’t work for us. After running through a few muddle puddles my son’s feet were wet and 24 hours later the shoes were still wet. This was only used one time, the terrain was wet but it was not raining, the puddles were very shallow and it was not like he immersed his feet on it. So i’m not sure why his feet got so wet. We were disappointed. Customer service was very helpful. Shoes have been returned and we are awaiting for our refund.
I am a grown adult that wears a size 3 1/2 little girls shoe. Love your service and what you're about. Unfortunately the size 4 shoe is a little too long and skinny for me, though it's not the product to blame for my oddly shaped feet. The fit was great for all of the shoes we ordered for the kiddos. Thank you again for the great service I received during my purchase.
My son wore them once to school and walked snow. Not even deep snow as it's the very start of the season here The boots were saturated inside.
First pair leaked after three months, pinched my feet even though they were too big and the soles wore out with minimal wear. The replacement pair gave me blisters, has a bump in the left foot toe area, and I'm pretty sure they are starting to let the grass dew in at the toe after a few weeks. I'm really disappointed because my son had a hand-me-down pair of Keens that lasted well over a year for him that never leaked, and were really comfortable. I'll be going with another brand next time.
Purchased these for my 5 year old (size 9) and she loves these boots! She wore the size 8 boots last summer and outgrew them, so we purchased this exact brand/style again because she did so well hiking in the first pair. They’re also perfect for camping trips (where kids are constantly running around in dirt & rocks). Plus, she says they’re comfortable. Living in Colorado, you have to invest in a nice pair of hiking boots. It makes all the difference with any outdoor adventure. These boots were reasonably priced and they’re very durable- money well spent. I highly recommend them!
