This function would be particularly useful but doesn't work (maybe an obstacle Apple has added to promote its airtag?) while the "chipo one spot" is working fine within the bluetooth range (though without the arrow indication that the airtag has), it only randomly gives notice when left behind and if so then only hours after. That's particularly useless if you left i.e. your camera bag behind. In my case I was 3km away when I realized it (not because of the chipolo!) and when returning to the last location someone had already taken it... And yes, you can activate "notify when found". Then you might get back your chipolo at least.

I have bought a 4-pack Chipolo ONE Spot on 30.08.22, I gave away 3 of it to my daughter and kept one for myslef. I activated it on 01.09.22 and the tracking stopped funtioning after 24.09.2022 (sine the last seen was on 24.09.22). I tried to play sound to trace it but it would not make any sound at all. I changed the battery, still it didn't work. I tried again yesterday and changed another battery and it worked again for now. How can the battery's lifespan is less than a month for a newly bought product ? For the money that I invested in your product, I expected the quality applied accordingly as well.

Took a long time to arrive - a couple of weeks. That was the only downside. It's very good value vs Apple AirTag. Seems like it's well made. Nice loud beeper - much louder than the AirTag. Works perfectly with the Apple Find My app. I did think it would work with the Chipolo app as well (which would let me share the item with someone else) but this is not the case. I can see that this is stated on the Chipolo website now. I would definitely get this ahead of an AirTag.

While I am an absolute lover of all things Apple, I can also admit when another company creates a product that is superior. Enter Chipolo. I am in the process of switching over my countless AirTags because of one main fact: I can actually hear the Chipolo when I'm attempting to locate a misplaced item. The same cannot be said for AirTags. Being someone with hearing loss, this is an absolute game changer for me!
So far, seems great. very unobtrusive and I do like the small size. Set up was a breeze. I would recommend as a competitor to the Apple Airtag. The location sound is loud. Works very well with Find My app. Seems a solid product
After buying for my keys and wallet I got this one for my dog.It’s now able to use Apple’s “find my” tech instead of the Chipolo tech and app.The only slight issue in that is I though it would appear in Chipolo app along with my others as well as being in Find My but it seems it’s and either/or thing.I’d like to have one place on my phone to see all tags - but it isn’t the end of the world and Apple’s tech is better if something goes missing out of earshot - which suits me for the dog!
I was a little disappointed there was no button to ring from the Chipolo One back to your iPhone (for when you misplaced your phone) but it is easy enough to open my laptop and use Find My when I misplace my phone. I've never used Chipolo before this, but I used to have Tile and I like the Chipolo One a lot more! The connection to the Find My network is reliable and easy to locate where my items are.I've only had it for a few weeks so my only other concern is the battery life--I felt like I was constantly having to change the battery in my Tiles or replace them completely. I'm hoping the Chipolo One holds up with no replacement or battery change for at least a year.
While looking for my keys, I accidently pushed the icon for the wallet. Immediately a friend said, What's that beeping. Once I realized I hit the wrong icon, I switched to the one for my keys - which was an apple air tag. I found it, not by the sound, but by remembering. After I got it, I pushed the sound button to chime it. My friend said she could hardly hear it. I couldn't hear it at all. So I may put a One-Spot on mt keys as well.
