This small mug has a deep navy glaze with white splatter detail and a clay matt base which reveals the fine smooth textured red clay that was used by the Mino artisan potters. The mug also features a characterful straight edged angular handle and has a tapered underside allowing for neat stacking with other Chips Stack mugs. Chips Inc. created this work together with artisans from the Mino Province using Mino materials and techniques.
