Black colour looks great. Freezer at bottom is very practical. 3 clear storage drawers - can easily see and access the contents. I used the turbo freeze function on day 1 to get everything frozen quickly. That’s an awesome feature. Fridge has plenty of space for 2 person household. Shelving configuration is interesting and works really well. Definitely a good choice to buy this fridge. Runs quietly. Had 5 star rating. Holds temperature.Paid the extra to have old fridge taken away. It was perfectly fine and could have gone in the garage …. Don’t do that unless you plan on living in the garage 😂.

Chiq claims it's quieter than a traditional compressor but it's much louder than my previous fridge which was almost 15 years old and is the loudest fridge I've heard. At least once a day for 30 min it gets very loud and from time to time makes weird and loud noises, it gets so bad that it's woken me up a few times while I'm sleeping in the bedroom. By default it operates in 'eco mode' and in this mode it's almost always running which makes it the opposite of economy, good thing I decided to play around with the settings. The silver edging of the shelves is of poor quality and is easily scratched from daily use, another thing my old fridge didn't have a problem with. Overall it works but it's poor quality and I don't plan on buying another Chiq product

Gem of a find. After some initial hesitation over brand obscurity bit the bullet and bought this fridge largely on the back of price and energy rating. Simple yet elegant. A great fridge at an even better price. Even got a free upgrade to 5 year warranty (extra 2 years on the standard 3 years) We’re loving it, don’t be a brand snob. Give CHIQ a go, you won’t regret it
