Christian Dior Miss Dior - 100ml Eau De Parfum Spray

The first time I ever smelled this perfume was not pleasing to me, but upon receiving this sample from Influenster, it all changed for me, and I LOVE THIS SCENT!!! The description describes the scent beautifully, but it does it no justice! This is one that you just have to see for yourself because I don’t currently have the words to describe it to you! I LOVE THIS! If you love floral scents, this is a must! I will say, spraying too much of this makes it too overwhelming, and it smells like soap the more you spray it, but this would be a great layer with a warm vanilla scent! The liquid itself is a peony pink, and I love that it comes in a square glass bottle. This perfume is so pleasing to the eye. The smell reminds me of a refreshing bath in rose petals, topped with a beauty powder and sealed with a kiss. I limit myself to ONE spray, because that’s really all that you need. Trust me, one spray and you will still be able to smell it throughout the day. Just fabulous overall. What other perfumes should aspire to be.

Once this fully dried down on me it did transform from the initial spray’s impression (sweet, floral, powdery), but I can tell you that it was in the BEST way. I honestly enjoyed the scent on it’s entire journey to a truly dried down scent that suited my body chemistry perfectly. I’m so obsessed when I run out of this gorgeous complimentary 1.7 oz bottle I think I want to add the full-size to my collection. I wouldn’t think twice to purchase this with my own $$$ or to recommend this to someone else.

In general, the fragrance is pretty and may appeal to floral-oriental scents lovers with noticeable sweetness and powderiness. It is very different from the previous version released in 2017, it is a completely different scent. Patchouli was removed in this 2021 version, and this is rather good news for me personally. Peaches-apricots for me are more likely not a jam here, but just a perfume fantasy. Something between a rose and a peony is also felt, but not annoying and balanced by powder. The base is sweet-oriental, however, in the opening, something a little too much musk comes out on me, but most likely it will not be so for everyone. The longevity is pretty decent. The scent (of course) faded by the end of the day, but it had good strength throughout the day. When I would smell my wrist occasionally, I noted the scent would become sweeter and less peppery. I received The Miss Dior Franchise Voxbox free to review from Influenster. My opinions are my own. Miss Dior was reinvented. I have not smelled its classic scent. I immediately smell the a sharp general floral / pepper, and when it is on the skin, despite the diverse notes listed in the scent description. I received a sample to test and review and am giving an unbiased opinion for this fragrance. To me, this is a more fullbodied take on the original Sauvage. This fragrance opens up with a more rounded fresh and spicy opening that takes away the sharp, metallic scent that opens with the EDT by adding a bit of vanilla. Bergamot, pepper, ambrosian, smooth vanilla, and lavender leap out with a refined, masculine aura. The sillageprojection for this one is not as crazy as the EDT, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. It still can still reach out about 5 feet away and is only slightly more subtle. I see this as kind of the more subtle and sweeter brother to sauvage EDT. The juice is lovely and the longevity is pretty incredible 9 hours on my skin. I really enjoy it. This scent (Miss Dior 2021) is getting bagged by Youtubers for being too light, unmemorable and lacking longevity. Miss Dior 2017 fans are up in arms that the 2021 version renders the 2017 out of production. Francis Demarchy, who created the 2021 version, has been replaced at Dior by Francis Kurkdjian, creator of the wildly successful Baccarat Rouge 540. I wonder if Demarchy lost his role due to the bad press associated with Miss Dior 2021. Despite this I went and blind bought it because it's new and now and it's Dior. I'm so glad I did! It's really pretty, delicate and ethereal. Floral and powdery without smelling like a Nanna. The naysayers were probably right about the lack of performance and I've knocked a star off due to it's lack of sillage. It is described as a warm floral, which is surprising because I’m not much of a floral gal.
