We purchased the XL ChuckIt Ultra Ball for our Border Collie/Boxer Mix to teach him how to play fetch. Not only does my sweet Pup love to chew on all the toys we get him, including tennis balls squeakers but he absolutely shreds all of them! He physically destroys and tears them apart! This toy however actually withstands his strong bite. He loves to play for hours and for our family, it’s so fun to play fetch and watch him bring the ball back ☺️ The ChuckIt Ultra Ball is a fetch enthusiast's dream. BEST BALLS FOR TENNIS BALL FLUFF DESTROYERS

My Doxi LOVES to fetch but would always end up scalping all the tennis balls and attempting to eat the yellow fluff like it had offended him deeply. There was no remorse. Then we found these and he was freed from the torment of the dreaded tennis ball! Highly recommend for heavy chewers, pups that tend to be more prone to de-fluff the standard tennis ball and is the same size as a standard tennis ball but a bit more dense. They have great bounce, bright color makes it easy to find in the grass. Material is very easy to clean and doesn’t have any weird smell or flavoring to entice the dog but it’s still by far one of my pup’s favorite toys! Hands down. This comes with us everywhere and had been a favorite amongst my friends dogs and even small children too!

Baby Balls we call them

Freyja is our 5 year old Rottweiler who is OBSESSED with the small balls! We want Freyja to model for the product because they aren’t just for small dogs. She’s a beautiful full breed. I accidentally bought small instead of medium to replace her Chuckit! Ultra Rubber Ball Tough Medium and Large of which she has many… but ever since she has had her paws on the small there has been no other “favourite” ball in the house that holds a rawhide candle to the Chuckit! ultra Rubber Ball Tough Small balls ;)!!! Best Ball For Heavy Chewers

We adopted a Border Collie/GSD mix who had been surrendered a few times in her brief 11 months. One of her anxious behaviors is serious chewing. She devours tennis balls (even the Kong ones), destroys ropes (she even unties the knots first, but she *is* a Border Collie), and will perform an oral autopsy on anything with a squeaker. Most rubber toys quickly succumb to her ministrations. These ChuckIt! balls have been the only throw toy to not only survive, but to keep her happy and occupied. 10/10 we will absolutely buy more of these, but chances are good that if we do it'll be because she's lost them and not because she tore them apart.

Chuckit! is fantastic

I have been throwing Chuckit! balls almost every day for more than a year now so I feel like it’s time for me to contribute my input. All the balls are durable but my dog and I have our favorites. Dogs only see blue and yellow with all other colors being seen as a shade of grey. So both of us prefer the blue balls because it is easier for both of us to see them especially in the fall when the orange balls hide in the leaves. Since the two balls are much cheaper than the whistlers and you get two blue balls in a pack, it’s a real deal for us to get these.3. The orange whistler.4. The Ultra rubber ball is a solid ball. This is preferred when playing in water because they float. They are not preferred when doing long fetch sessions because it is harder for my dog to breath with the solid ball in her mouth.5. Even though it’s easier to breath with the Air Fetch, my dog just doesn’t care for it at all. She also didn’t show much interest in the ultra flyer but she is fixated on balls so that is probably a breed thing.

No longer Ultra

I’ve bought dozens of these balls for the Chuckit over 10 years. Eventually they kind of disappear on the property under leaves or in brush etc. My only complaint was the orange fades very rapidly if left in the sun, but they were pretty indestructible.But, now there is a clear change for the worst in quality. The seam of the ball as two halves are glued together is noticeably raised and sometimes not even aligned to each half. You can count on the ball splitting after a number of throws. This is not a matter of the dog doing it with their mouth and after all the ball is meant to be caught and retrieved by a dog. Clearly a de-evolution of ball technology and cheap low quality manufacturing.If Chewy allowed photos, I’d be glad to attach. Perfect for him

My 2 year old Boston terrier is a hard chewer. I have ordered several other "non-destructible" toys and stuffed animals for him and within 10 to 15 minutes they are already destroyed. I started getting him these balls only. He has around 20 of them and he always has one in his mouth toting it around. He also knows which one he had last and if it rolls under the couch , he will whine until i get it for him (even though he has a ton of others).These are his favorite and each one is the same color, shape. I will always buy these for him, seems to be the only ones he does not destroy! He even sleeps with them, one in his mouth and several in the bed.

I have been wanting to get my 2 Pups some balls to play with but I've had a hard time finding one that is hard enough that they don't destroy it (they're super chewers) but yet soft enough that it doesn't hurt their mouth when they chew. I was extremely skeptical because we have had many toys that are supposed to be for super chewers, but these turned out to be perfect! They can still gnaw on it like they would with a regular ball, but they have not been able to even make a dent with their teeth. It's pretty much indestructible! Definitely will buy again if we need a few more around the house or if we lose the ones we have. Don't think we will have to worry about them chewing them up. THE BEST FOR DOGS THAT CHEW!

I have 2 big & 1small dog that love playing catch. Bad thing is 2 of the dogs like to catch them then chew them up (tennis balls are a 1 time play then chewed)! I tried several balls to find one that my sheppard wouldn't chew up, Ibought these in a set of two and decided to try them. Being rubberized i was skeptical cuz she had chewed others rubber ones up. This Chuckit ultra ball is AWESOME!!!! They are light weight yet durable, they do bounce even on grass, and... The Dogs have yet to chew them up!!! My sheppard will get them and knawl, chew, chew, chew and still has NOT put a hole in 1 of them!! I have bought several since cuz they get lost on the property, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE especially if you have a dog who likes to chew them up!!

XL = Big dogs only!

I regularly buy Chuckit! Ultra balls for my adult lab and pit/shepherd puppy, but we've never had the XL size before. While Ultra balls aren't indestructible, they do last several months and survive much, much longer than most balls do in our household. If we would pick them up and just save them for 'fetch', they'd probably last forever but we leave them down and eventually they do fall victim to intense chew sessions. Both dogs love Ultra balls, but I'm not sure they like the XL any more/less than the medium size. That being said, from the human perspective, I love this one because it can't get lost under the couch!
