La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lips, Lip Repairing Balm, 7.5ml

If you want to know if this product works: simply put, it’s amazing. This lip balm is incredibly moisturizing and works as a really good overnight lip mask. I wake up in the morning with the softest lips. And there is no gross taste or smell! HOWEVER this lip balm has a TON of weird ingredients that give me pause. I think the clinical-esque packaging enhances my hesitation on these ingredients (this looks like a medication not a lip balm). So I’m hesitant to continue to use this until I do some real research on some of these intimidating ingredients—especially because this goes near my mouth. But if this isn’t something that you consider when buying a product, at face value this really is a nice lip balm and I would recommend it based on that alone.

I love lip balms , but this one is different. It’s clear has no scent or color. Personally for me I love lip balms that have color in them/scents. I used this product in many ways; the first time I used it by itself and it did what it claimed which is to keep my lips hydrated. The following day I mix this clear lipbalm with a lipstick to make my own custom lip balm and it worked. Lastly, I applied this lip balm first then a lipstick over it and it worked well. This lip balm does exactly what it’s supposed to do . But , don’t get it confused with a liquid lipstick, they are very different. This will transfer , not kiss proof and not water resistant. This product is AMAZING! If you have chapped or extremely dry lips I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s not your average lip balm. This product does not have a scent and it’s not greasy. It goes on your lips smooth and you can feel your lips feeling better already. I used it for 24 hours - I applied it 3 times out of the 24 hours and my lips were severely chapped and they are healed after 24 hours of using. It’s a small little tube fits anywhere goes on smooth easy cap to remove and close when done using. I received this product from Influenster complimentary for my honest review. I am absolutely obsessed with this lip balm. It’s soooo extremely smooth and hydrating without being sticky. It really like soaks into my lips. It’s my new favorite and I bring it with me every where. It’s always in my purse and I use it often. My lips tend to get dry and embarrassingly I tend to ignore them because I’m so incredibly picky about my chapstick, lip balm, lip gloss, etc. one reason being, I have long hair that tends to stick to my lips if they have any product on them almost like a magnet. I’ve tried this product for a few weeks now and I have noticed a difference. I tend to have dry lips and am always picking at them :/ I try to use other lip balms and exfoliators but they’re always short-lived. I usually apply in the morning when I’m doing my face routine and at night before bed. I noticed that I’d wake up and my lips wouldn’t be as dry, they would still feel pretty soft. I didn’t notice change right away but after daily use, I did see improvement. I like that it’s unscented and tint less. It’s small enough where I can easily throw this in my bag. Kind of a thick, Vaseline-like texture. I didn’t have an issue getting product from the tube. If it’s not too pricey I would definitely consider repurchasing this on my own.

I received this product for free from Influenster and La Roche-Posay in exchange for my honest opinion. This stuff is legit! Move over Laneige….there is a new lip balm in town. I use a lip balm every night before bed. After receiving this lip product, I didn’t have high hopes that I would replace my nightly lip mask with a new product. After using it a few times, I felt a huge difference in the condition of my lips. I wear lipstick every single day, which oftentimes leaves my lips dry and chapped. This product completely alleviated that literally after the first application. It has the texture almost like Aquafor, with no fragrance or flavor. It is lightweight and sheer and does exactly what it says. I would 100% purchase this product in the future.

I had applied LA Roche -Posay Hydration Restore Lip Balm not only to myself but also my daughter who also suffers from dry skin and lips. My first initial thought was after application how smooth the lip balm had felt going on, the second was this is amazing it gave my lips relief longer than other competitive brands. The visual with my daughters lips are also amazing as hers were dry and I applied the lip balm to hers within 10 minutes I noticed how nourished and hydrated her lips looked after using this product. I have been struggling with chapped, bleeding lips my entire life.. I thought I had tried everything.In the past I had purchased luxury lip balms, lip oils, even the cheap Nivea balms didn’t do it for me. I was starting to give up on my lips and just accept that it is just how I am… until yesterday..
