Really nice perfume. Itās a nice vanilla scent. I love the flankā¦ itās simple yet sophisticated. It lasts for ages without being overpowering. YSL make a lot of vanilla scents and this one is probably one of their more mild and subtle ones which makes it easy to wear especially for everyday use. I love it.

On the twentieth anniversary of the iconic Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent, I decided to unbox both of my EdP and Edt. I started with the EdP, which is a 2016 batch. Itās a beautiful citrusy and floral scent, smelling like old money. Its complexity is mesmerizing, as most of the fragrances from that timeframe are. And Iām in a stage in my life when Iām so overwhelmed by everything new, that I need to find refuge in classic scent, iconic scents, the ones that wrote the perfumery history.

It starts with strong blast of orange blossom and clementine peel (!) and then softens to delightful honey- vanilla scent. VERY feminine without being vulgar. Great for autumn, for going out to the pub, walk in the park on chilly October afternoon... am I getting carried away? That's how Cinema makes me feel: dreamy, carefree, feminine and... happy! It stays on my skin for up to 14h, few days on clothes and sheets (have I mentioned it's also amazing "go to bed" scent?).

My fragrance collection is versatile. I go from wanting to feel classy to sexy and then girly. So I have a range of different perfumes. This fragrance falls into the classy section of my wardrobe. This fragrance has been around for a long time but it doesnāt feel dated at all . It has this beautiful scent of Vanilla with a touch of flowers and it has a moderate silage. It has lasting power and itās really feminine. I canāt say enough good things about this perfume. My 11 year old son tells me how good I smell when I wear this.
Another discontinued beauty: CinĆ©ma EDT by Yves Saint Laurent. An almond floral fragrance with notes of sweet tangerine, soft jasmine, delectable vanilla and resinous amber. This is an oriental fragrance done RIGHT ā and is more original than other offering currently on the market. This last for hours with moderate projection. I love YSL scents so so much. This one I was given as a gift some time back and it's not my favorite it's even difficult for me to describe it as far as top notes middle and all of that fun stuff. I definitely say that if you are considering this scent. Try it before you buy it! Everyone's body chemistry is different and I love perfume it's one of my favorite things on earth but some just don't fit with my DNA lol this is one. Mysterious and glamorous floral perfume. Very classy for a sophisticated woman. She knows what she wants and she will always have it.The scent is alluring. The design of the bottle is simple but at the same time is chic.
Not the same as previously brought YSL Cinema. Scent is not strong, does not last and has gone within 10 minutes.This has been changed and the notes have been compromised. Not as strong as this used to be. Awful just expensive water with a very slight scent.

I received a bottle of YSL Cinema as a Christmas present, and it certainly does not disappoint! You immediately feel a fresh, citrus burst when you first apply it, and then a soft musky floral with vanilla notes follows that people always comment on when I wear it. I am a huge fan of the YSL range, and have been a loyal customer for decades now, but if you want a fragrance that doesn't overpower you, but makes a statement, then this is a great choice. Whilst it is an eau de parfum spray, I find I do need to reapply it at least twice a day, but that only reminds me of how lovely it is!
