The variety of flavours that Nespresso offers is going to keep us going for a long time! The machine comes with a small taster pack and it really helped us figure out what flavours we are after.Our favourite thing so far has to be the fact that there are so many varieties to suit any mood and tastes in the family. It is one of those machines that everyone uses so it has been great value for money. I would recommend going online and seeing what flavour combinations other Nespresso users are recommending as I have found some solid suggestions! We are trying to find a better way to store the used capsules for recycling but I am pleasantly surprised at how the capsules themselves do not leak. I would say that if you are not sure about this purchase, I would say go for it because my whole family has loved it and when friends come around they are excited to try the coffees and are always so impressed with the quality of the drink you get from the machine!

The drip tray is only useful for expresso cups due to the height of the machine, which makes it pointless in my case. My preferred choice when brewing Gran Lungo (150ml) is the Reverso method. Make sure you use the right size mug, the Nespresso Gran Lungo Mug (265ml) is perfect for this. Start with making hot semi-skimmed milk froth (120ml) and pour into mug. Next brew the capsule (150ml) into mug, my favourites so far Costa Rica and Fortado. Finally sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Now enjoy!

Great versatile machine

This is our third Nespresso machine and the first of the newer Vertuo type. The machine comes extremely well packaged and Nespresso have obviously tried to ensure it has the lowest environment impact as possible with the use mostly of paper and card.The machine also comes with a great selection of capsules to get you started and understand the difference styles and sizes of coffee the machine can produce. It's very quick to warm up and also produce the coffee the only thing I would have liked would have been a larger water container. But I think this is bigger on the larger machines.All in we really love the machine and the coffee it brews in many ways tastes better than our been to cup machine. Just what I needed!

I'm not a massive coffee fan but the machine I bought really gets used a lot, especially when I have visitors. It also fits perfectly on my cupboard as it doesn't take a lot of space and the colour matches well with some of the items in my kitchen (there were few colours to choose from).A big shout out to Chelsea at John Lewis Glasgow, who did an incredible job, gave an excellent demo and explained everything to me - she honestly is a gem, what a fantastic service from her!I do really recommend the product (it was also on offer at the time I bought it and you could get 50 free capsules).The only thing that I would like to see being improved is that when you try to order more capsules, you have to go to Nespresso website and need to order at least 5 boxes of ... MoreI'm not a massive coffee fan but the machine I bought really gets used a lot, especially when I have visitors. I think I would rather go to a local Nespresso store and buy the amount of boxes I require, so at least it would not have to be a 'minimum of 5'. But John Lewis shouldn't be blamed for it as it's to do with the manufacturer of the product.Other than that, I'm very happy with the product I bought and the service I received. Lasted 9 Months

Brilliant to start with. Loved the coffee, though the pods are pricey and there are no cheaper options. But after 7 months it started leaking coffee from underneath somewhere. Went through lengthy complicated process with Nespresso CS, which didn't help, except leaking was more intermittent. Then this week, 9 months in, the flashing red light indicates machine error and there's no way to remedy it. It won't make coffee. I can apparently take it back to JL for repair and might get a loan machine. Fed up and disappointed. Don't be fooled you'll get money back under the guarantee if it goes wrong - you won't.

Once worked well

For the first 9 months I had trouble free coffee making, then the red lights started.I wasted numerous capsules sometimes 5 to make one coffee.Was shocked when Nespresso said my machine was broken and I could a have a 'preloved' machine delivered next day or my machine fixed, which would take up to 3 weeksPreloved, prebroken, preused, prewarrantyclaim.Can't quite believe that for a global brand like this, their warranty is so bad. I almost laughed when jumping through their warranty process, I needed to empty the used capsule tray and refill the water. It seems they are well aware of how fragile these lovely looking machines are. JL warranty on these are 30 days which probably says it all...Overall very disappointed.

Smart coffee machine

I am delighted with my Vertuo Pop coffee machine. It was easy to set up which was a bonus as I do not regards myself at being very technical! The machine is compact and doesn't take up much space.It was good to have coffee capsule samples to get going immediately and straightforward to contact Nespresso and acquire the free capsules mentioned in the deal. I am very happy with just a few minor points. The machine is a little noisy when brewing. I hadn't completely realised you can only get the capsules for this direct from Nespresso which is easy enough but a bit restrictive. Well worth the purchase

Honestly, as a lover of coffee, this has saved me a fortune in coffee shop coffees. The machine is very easy to set up and use and the nespresso coffees are simply delicious. The sample pack of capsules that come with the machine help to identify your perfect taste of capsules and re-ordering is very easy.A steal of a price for a nifty machine. Well worth the purchase.My only niggle is that the machine sits quite low if you prefer to use taller mugs for your coffee. I've had to remove the drip tray to fit my favourite mug underneath but other than that no gripes.
