Purchase this watch a year and a half ago from a citizen dealer . When I purchase the watch it was over $500.00 !! Which I expected to pay for a quality watch . I discussed with the salesperson that the watch would be for every day us. She assured me the watch face was mineral glass and it would not scratch. The band as for being stainless as the pictures show it hasn’t held up either. Citizen 5 year warranty states they will not cover it so much for a warranty . I’ve had to many watch shops and they won’t work on them because of the mineral glass. The lack of salesperson knowledge as well as citizens warranty has given me very serious doubts about citizens costumers . Very disappointed with it and would not recommend for an everyday use for a blue collared worker!!!!

The quality and weight is great and the diamonds are a nice touch that everyone notices and admires. I love to be able to tell friends how much of a good company Citizen is and get them to purchase for themself. Quite accurate and solid desing that will last a longtime. For those of you that might has seen finish wear off you must know one thing and that is do not wear this for work or if you planning on working out or doing something that involes your wrist sweating, ion coating or whatever this is plated with does not like that. I've wanted an Eco-Drive watch for many years, but could never justify spending several hundred dollars on one. Finally, I bit the bullet and am so glad I did. It's such a beautiful piece and feels so nice on my wrist. It is easy to set the time and date and charged right up in just a short while. I was able to easily remove the links of the band and adjust the size to my needs. Would buy this watch or a similar one again!
I have at least 10 Citizen watches and all are Eco-Drive. I would not consider any other model from Citizen- have never had a problem with reliability. The Axiom Black Leather has served as a dress up watch for me. I cannot get comfortable with the look wearing it with jeans. With a sport coat or suit it makes a nice statement. Lighweight and sleek, I have had a number of comments on the look. I would suggest this is an alternate to your everyday watch. Have not experienced the Axiom in very hot temps to see how the leather band holds up when sweat is inevitable. I have had problems with a couple of other leather bands from Citizen as they wore out prematurely and had to be replaced within the first 12-18 months even when I alternated the watches. I just purchased another leather band of higher quality while in the shop. Beware of low quality Citizen leather bands- be prepared to replace sooner than you would expect.
My late grandmother got me this watch around 7 years ago at one of the last trips we took to the Casino together. I've used it as my daily driver for about 4-5 years now and it still looks and runs as great as it did when I first got it. I'll admit the sentimental value is significant to me which is why I'm so fond of it, but it still is a great watch that can be used on all occasions. The bracelet is very nice and there is no signs of chips or peeling or scratches shown on it or the crystal, as it's a very sturdy watch.
I have truly appreciated this watch. I have had it only a couple of years. It stopped working. I took it to a local Jewlry repair store. They told me that the "Capacitor" is out on the watch and that it COST $90. How do I get this warranty replaced? ASAP please.
Stylish and Affordable, what more can be said. The Face (Front) of the watch is not too bad either imo, just take care of it and it doesn't "scratch" up like a lot of other reviews say (again this is my opinion/experience, other users may use this watch more often me, do more activities while wearing it etc. Everyone is different and this is just my experience with the watch).So as long as it's properly taken care of and maybe slightly worn (just special occasions etc) this is one Stylish and affordable watch.Can't go wrong with it being a Citizen as well.Quality brand, quality watch. 👌
Unable to read the face on the watch. No light to show the time, and impossible to read the time even in the daylight. Bought this watch for my husband and he has never worn it because it’s useless to him. Very nice watch but very poorly made. For the price, I would expect this watch to have some sort of backlight to be able to read the time. I lost the receipt and wish there was a way to exchange this watch to something useful.
We absolutely love our watch. My husband saw this in Mexico and chased it down to the states. We had been looking for a couple weeks when Capital One Shopping found it here for the best price. It was even $20+ cheaper than Amazon. We are very pleased.
