The Ayla from Citizens for Humanity is a very cute denim style. Taken on travel, I paired this denim with a heeled sandal, structured blouse, and soft-tweed blazer for an evening, and for day with a casual sneaker, classic t-shirt, and cashmere sweater. Several women inquired of the brand, I was incredibly comfortable, and felt super pulled together in a high fashion city. I wear a size xs, 2, and 4 regularly in bottoms; the 26 Ayla is the size ordered. The button fly is not difficult to work and lays flat against the body. This pair of denim is nicely weighted, washed up well, too. I wonder if they can pull off a spring/summer weight denim in this style?! I am very happy with my purchase of this denim style.

I love these jeans. I sized down one per reviews and still have a little room. I’m 5’-11” with long legs and the double cuff hits too high on my leg so I prefer to wear them uncuffed or cuffed once. Nice oversized shape- they almost bow a little. I prefer the light wash for these. Medium wash felt and looked too heavy. Love to wear with a tighter fitting slightly cropped top for balance.

I’m absolutely in love with these jeans. I debated keeping them for so long only because of the price, but I’m going to be LIVING in these, so totally worth it. I decided to go down only one size because I wanted them to be quite baggy. I’m 5’2” so a double roll fits me longer than the model, but I don’t mind. FYI, I tried multiple washes in these jeans and they all fit very differently.

I was trying to be adventurous and dive into the barrel Jean these are the perfect compromise for me. They’re wide leg but flattering. Would definitely size down 1-2 sizes. I went down one size and definitely could have gone down one more but I’ll belt these and rock them all fall. Don’t be afraid to give them a try
Amazing. I bought two sizes down because I wanted the high waist look and they are perfect. They fit like a glove in the waist/hips, then ease out to a wide leg. And you can cuff them! I am losing weight, and I will still be able to wear these, as mid-rise then slouchy on the hips, as my weight changes. With no need to hem! And the rigid denim doesn’t bag out! CoH makes the best jeans. If your weight fluctuates, these are the perfect wide leg jeans.
These jeans are so fun to play with and style; can be dressed up with heels or worn with sneaks and sandals. I’m a 33” waist and a 44” hip, and usually go with a 30 in CoH denim. I had to go up to a 31 in these as they are cut pretty straight through the hip and the fabric does not have stretch. If you’ve got a booty and/or do not have a flat stomach, consider sizing up one from your normal size.
I LOVE THESE JEANS. I agree, size down. Per COH size chart I’m a 28 and I got a 27. These are a mid rise jean with a dropped crotch. I can wear them at my high hip (hip bone) or with a belt, a little higher. I don’t agree with the other reviews saying size down 2 sizes. I’ve worn them all day, mostly sitting down and they didn’t bag out a ton which is great. Also it’s normal for different washes to have a different price. Some washes are harder to achieve than others.
I hesitated to purchase these jeans for the price. I have so many pairs. Except they always get five star reviews and I kept circling back to them. I love them. The weight (mid to heavy), the color and the fit. I bought my usual 26 and could have gone to a 25 but wanted the very baggy look. I’d say they run one size bigger which honestly makes them more appealing. I think conserving electricity and avoiding restaurants for two weeks is worth the tradeoff.
As soon as I saw these I knew I wanted to try them but the price held me back. I bit the bullet when they were 30% off and I’m so glad I did. I’m 5’6 149 lbs and I went with my usual size 28 and they fit just the way I intended. Loose relaxed fit similar to the model but not too oversized. I’m considering purchasing another wash. If you’re in between sizes I would size down as 100% cotton will loosen up over time.
I really like these - as a tall person, they are long enough to wear uncuffed, but I think the cuff is a great look. I like that they have a somewhat ballon leg - but more flattering then other balloon legs I’ve tried.I got my usual size - I definitely could have sized down, but I like the slouch. If they give too much with wear, I’ll wear a belt or have them nipped a bit in the waist by a tailor.I needed another pair of jeans like a hole in the head, but these were too cute not to keep!
