I used the colour 04 Dark Brown and found that it coloured all my grey hairs well and that it didn't fade too quickly on the grey hairs which I have experienced with other brands in the past.I absolutely loved the conditioner that it comes with and thought the smell of it was delightful and it left my hair feeling extremely silky and smooth. I just wish they would sell this magical conditioner. Love it.After washing my hair for a few weeks now since I coloured my hair the colour hasn't faded and still looks nice a fresh. I will purchase this again.

I am a regular user of DIY hair colour kits. I was attracted to this product because it was marketed as strengthening and repairing hair. The kit comes with disposable gloves, mixing tube and two formulas to mix before application, as well as a generous tube of treatment conditioner.I have thick, coarse, naturally dark long black hair that has been dyed dark brown with quite a bit of grey showing through regrowth. I found that one packet of this was only enough to cover all roots generously. To colour my whole head of hair would definitely require 2 packs. The application was easy, the formula wasn't drippy and easy to use with a hair colouring brush (my own). It does have ammonia but the smell wasn't too bad. After the waiting time, I rinsed my hair and found it ... MoreI am a regular user of DIY hair colour kits. The included tube of treatment conditioner was very creamy and immediately coated the dry hair with moisture and smoothness. The tube is quite large and will last weeks used once a week. The results were dark brown on me, rather than medium brown. The grey coverage was excellent, 100% as promised. The contents are enough for me to do a decent root retouch between full colouring - which I will 2 packs for. Overall I was happy with it and will repurchase, possibly trying other lighter colours for a change.

This is great kit for home colour. The dye is easy to prepare and the nozzle makes for easy application especially on the roots. I wasn't fan of the gloves provided though they are better than some other brands. I have medium length thick hair and used approx 1.5 bottles for full hair. The instuctions were easy to follow with lots of pictures. The scent wad quite mild and not too unpleasant. I really liked the conditioner and there is more than enough for few applications.I chose shade Light Auburn the colour was not quite as intense as the picture on the box however my natural hair is little darker than the recommended shades. Overall I was very happy with the result my hair is shiny and all stray greys have been covered. Will def buy this again.

I was very pleased to have the chance to try Clairol Nice 'N Easy Repair. This product was very easy to prepare and the instruction leaflet explained everything well. Unlike some other permanent hair colour peparations the scent was pleasant. The colour range was excellent and although resulting in a slightly darker shade than the product I usually use it was not a problem. I was more than satified with the medium brown colour. My hair seems much more conditioned now, the colour is deep and my hair shiny, looks good. There was plenty of product and the after shampoo conditioner will last several washes.I would recommend this permanent hair product to anyone who wants to colour their hair with a reliable product, and as stated in the instructions an allergy test is ... MoreI was very pleased to have the chance to try Clairol Nice 'N Easy Repair. I tried this product in the shade 7C Dark Cool Blonde. It doesn’t have the usual harsh ammonia scent, it has a light floral scent and didn’t trigger an asthma attack as another hair dye has. After my hair dried, I noticed that there was definitely some damage done by the process – my hair was quite rough and tangled, and the ends were very dry. There was also some breakage around the hairline. The final colour came out a lot darker than indicated on the box – my hair is very dark blonde/very light brown with significant grey, but my hair came out very dark brown. It didn’t provide 100% grey coverage, despite leaving the colour on for the maximum 35 minutes (including an extra 10 mins as recommend for resistant greys).I have a very sensitive scalp with psoriasis ... MoreI tried this product in the shade 7C Dark Cool Blonde. It doesn’t have the usual harsh ammonia scent, it has a light floral scent and didn’t trigger an asthma attack as another hair dye has. After my hair dried, I noticed that there was definitely some damage done by the process – my hair was quite rough and tangled, and the ends were very dry. I like to colour my hair because I have a lot of grey hair. I chose the light brown shade which is close to my natural colour.I followed the instructions in the box. I used the whole product because my hair is quite long. The hair colour itself has a creamy texture, I used a brush to apply it. It has the typical hair colour smell, however not as strong as other brands I used before. It is ok if the bathroom is well ventilated.I really enjoy the results : a beautiful ,shiny colour, still looking fresh after few washs. It covered the grey hair pretty good , but it washed off slightly after a week.I loved the little tube of conditioner , really thick texture and it will nourish the hair after colouring , the best ever.
I bleached my hair from beating brown to a blonde / light red hair and then processed this colour. The results were fantastic!!! I have very long hair and I knew that bleach would result in possible hair damage. This colour came out beautiful and my hair survived. Very impressed. I have been quoted more than $300 by hairdressers to do this and I managed to do it for a total of $50. Absolutely impressed and I have received so many compliments. I think it’s important to closely watch your hair and keep note of what the processing time is . My hair is very porous. I also noticed my roots being a touch lighter which I will fix in the next application. Just to give you an indicator the colour turned out to be just like Shania Twain’s hair in the music video you don’t ... MoreI bleached my hair from beating brown to a blonde / light red hair and then processed this colour. Really loved this product!! The instructions were easy to follow and understand. It gave me the option to use it in different ways depending on my requirements. There was no strong smell which was really lovely & totally covered my greys!! I have used a few home pack dyes and I think this is definitely the easiest and simplest to use. To be honest I have be drawn to Clairol quite a few times for all the above reasons. One box was enough to do my long hair which is excellent value for money. One thing I needed more help with was maybe really understanding the color chart. It is difficult to know exactly what color you end up with when you are not a professional. My color went darker than usual but it was actually a nice change and I really do like it. I also liked ... MoreReally loved this product!! The instructions were easy to follow and understand. I also liked the CC Color seal conditioner at the end. I used the whole lot at once as I have long dry hair so really needed it!! Thanks Clairol for a Nice & Easy Experience!!
I bought a couple of these boxes and looked at the use by date. One use by date was 2018. I contacted the Clairol company and asked about use by dates, they asked me to send a photo of the expiry date etc so I did. They called me and we discussed it. Then I received an email from them to say hair colour has an expiry date and it is ok for 3 years and to "NOT USE IT as it was way past its use by date". All of the boxes of this product I purchase from this store have a short use by date because they're years old so I won't be purchasing from there again.
Thanks to Beauty Crew & Clairol for this trial product.I have not had a an appointment with my hairdresser this year due to Covid-19 restrictions so needless to say my hair has been incredibly lacking in everything except for washing & conditioning.I haven't used a 'home' colour' in years, so I was cautious.Today Clairol Nice'n Easy Repair was used...coverage of grey hair was brilliant !Easy to apply.Short application time; that's always good. The colour gives a great shine & reflection. My hair looks & feels shiny. The colour I used was Medium Ash Blonde but my result is more medium dark golden blonde.I'm pleased with my colour but I would suggest that maybe choose a shade lighter than you normally would.
