I am a huge fan of facial oils, especially the ones I have tried by Clarins. This particular facial oil is the perfect balance of smoothing, nourishing and hydrating without being too much. Sometimes facial oils can cause me some congestion but this Calm-Essentiel Restoring Treatment Oil is light enough to not clog my pores but still visibly plumped up my skin. I noticed the delicate skin around my eyes was particularly responsive to this oil which visible reduced fine lines and crows feet on application. I use this facial oil and night and wake up to calm and happy skin the following morning. This product would be great for anyone with sensitive skin as it contains minimal ingredients and caused me no irritation whatsoever. I think this would be especially ... I was gifted this product by The Beauty Works for review, I love Clarins products and this Calm Essential range has been such a lifesaver to my red, blotchy skin. I love the packaging by Clarins, this oil came in a glass dropper. It just looks super fancy with its usual red and white logo packaging. The dropper is very easy to use and you only need a few drops mixed with the soothing emulsion. Upon applying the mixture onto my face, my skin feels so hydrated and soothed, like a new skin! Like the other products in the 'Calm Essentiel" range, there is slight scent of the sage. I love how Clarins have thought of the environment, the packaging is made from recycled glass. I love facial oils and this clarins calm Essentiel restoring treatment oil is absolutely gorgeous. I only need to use two drops to spread evenly over my entire face. The oil sinks straight in and is calming and really hydrated my skin. It helps eliminate redness and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. For anyone who has never used a facial oil I highly recommended it, it does not leave your face looking greasy or oily at all. It gives skin a luminous Dewey quality which is quite youthful. I love clarins products and use a lot of them. This oil is quite luxurious and is packaged beautifully. Because I only need to use a little at a time it lasts for ages so it’s quite good value. Love this oil and would buy it again

I really miss the serum. I’m not as keen on the texture of the oil and find it more difficult to add to my routine. Serum and sensitive moisturiser I found a better combination. I also found the serum worked instantly. The oil still leaves my skin red and uneven and takes a little time to balance. After this time my skin does look good and it does work. The new sensitive moisturiser is very good. Except the pump is awful. Tubes and tubs preferred. Almost fantastic products. Would be very interested is a new serum was introduced to the range.
