I was gifted this product by The Beauty Works for review.The Clarins Calmessentiel Restoring treatment oil comes in a white box with the classic Clarins red writing. The oil bottle itself is a white stoneceramic feeling bottle with red writing and pink detailing. It really does look luxurious.There is a little white silicone feeling dropper on top that you squeeze to fill the dropper with oil. I find 1 drop is sufficient for my face and neck.The oil itself is clear and is the consistency of a slightly thinned out oil.To use the oil I mix 1 drop in with my Clarins Calmessentiel Soothing emulsion and then pat that all over my face and neck in the morning after cleansing and toning my skin. I am now using a sample amount of the very dry and more emollient formula which when put on at night leaves no greasy feel whatsoever by morning. My skin is more comfortable and more moisturized than with the normal dry formula. Is it more hydrated though Im not sure. In general if youre someone whos more mature and has skin wanting hydration, normal dry didnt do it for me so Id be wary of that choice. Id try the very dry formula first. Clarins, if youre reading, please take note.

I'm about to buy this and, the night cream because I love the actual texture of the day cream. I haven't actually tried the night cream yet but, I'm impressed with what I've actually seen in results after 2 weeks - I've been using my mother's samples as well! I hate heavy day creams and although I have an oily skin, I need moisture on cheeks in particular. This is excellent and suits my skin to perfection. It's better than Clarins other Hydra products and, I thought they were good. I'm not keen on the price but, needs must! I think it's the results that I can actually see which have persuaded me to make this purchase.
