It was my favourite after shave product by any company.The "After Shave Soothing Toner" appears to have replaced this product as it was automatically substituted in my subscription. The new product does not have the same scent, nor does it feel the same when applied after shaving.The new product doesn't sooth shaving burn in the same way as the "energizer" product.

It was my favourite after shave product by any company.The "After Shave Soothing Toner" appears to have replaced this product as it was automatically substituted in my subscription. The new product does not have the same scent, nor does it feel the same when applied after shaving.The new product doesn't sooth shaving burn in the same way as the "energizer" product.

I'm submitting this review on behalf of my husband who would a) never admit to buying products like this himself and b) would certainly never review them online!However… he started using this as a sample that I'd received and he loved it straight away. He's got quite sensitive skin and struggles to find products to calm the skin after shaving but this one definitely does the trick.I bought the full size version for his birthday and it's the first time I've known him to stick religiously to using a product day in, day out so it must be doing something right!
I love this product and it is getting harder to find. It is perfect after a shave, it really gives the skin a wake up call and soothes any abrasion.

Clarins After Shave Toner (Energiser) is a great quality product that delivers exactly what it says. Face feels fresh and alive after applying this.
The formula of this product appears to have changed. My husband used it many times before and it’s not as cool and refreshing as it was. The scent is much stronger and it appears to have lost some of the antibacterial properties it once had
I’ve been buying this for a couple of years and thought it was a fantastic product that really helped my skin after a shave. I have just purchased another bottle, and well it seems completely different. The bottle is different and the formula doesn’t feel as sharp and not as good. Generally disappointed and may not purchase again.
I think this very lightly scented soothing toner is a real treat. an almost neutral fragrance but with zero burn and stinging that some aftershaves produce, even though they are great on some occasions precisely because of their intense small. never tried this Clarins product before but will become a firm favourite.
