The day cream has made such a change to my skin, for the better. I used to think all moisturisers were the same. Since using the day cream, my skin has felt so much better. I can SEE the change as well. Ive happily added the multi active day cream to my staples. My must haves. I also think having SPF incorporated into the moisturiser is an added bonus. Putting sunscreen on my face is something i rarely do, now I dont have to think about it.

I actually ordered the ‘old’ version of this that Clarins have discontinued in the hope of getting last of the stock, but Boots sent me this new one. Now that meant I got it at a lower price, but I’d really rather have had the old one.This one smells more ‘clinical’ and the SPF makes my eyes water in the way that some sunscreens do, whereas the old one did not.Clarins seems to be discontinuing many of the products that I used regularly and I don’t like the alternatives as well.I know they need to move on, but between that and the inevitable price increases, I’ll be looking for alternatives.

This cream was very disappointing, it caused my eyes to sting. As its so thin it spread very easily but didn't soak in very well; even though I was sure to avoid my eyes it still seemed to seep into them. I would not buy this product again. I have been buying Claris face cream for over 30 years and whilst I appreciate it's the SPF agents that must be causing the stinging, I have never experienced this with other creams with SPF.

I received a sample of the new multi-active day cream and I love it! Combined with the night cream it gives brilliant results and my skin looks brighter and healthier and my pores are definitely less visible. I love Clarins products and the multi-active range has always been my favourite. It must be working well because a consultant on another beauty range thought I was 10 years younger than I actually am! I was delighted!!
On my second cycle of samples (tubes not sachets) and have now made a full size purchase. I love love love this formula. I usually go for a dry skin formulation but find I don’t need to with this. It gives my skin a real feeling of nourishment and comfort. And the scent is soothing, perhaps a little heavier than I would normally choose but I find it refreshing and uplifting in the mornings.
I was sent a sample of the multi action jour cream. This morning I used it for the first time, and I was quite impressed.The cream went on smoothly and absorbed instantly. My skin felt very soft and hydrated and other skin care products that I use worked well with this daytime moisturizer. I found the slight scent very nice and certainly not overpowering. I'm pleased to see it contains niacinamide, as this is something I usually also use daily. It certainly suited my mature combination skin, and when I'm next buying a new moisturiser I will seriously consider this one
VERY DISAPPOINTING - Multi-Active Day Cream with SPF15. I have been using Multi Active Day Face Cream for many years. Recently Clarins have changed the formula of the cream and you can no longer purchase the SPF 30.The new formula is heavy, greasy and you cannot apply your makeup immediately after application because the cream is too thick and heavy. Even after half an hour it felt the same.Disappointingly I had to wash my face again and apply a lighter cream. £50 wasted.
I desperately miss the former multi-active lotion with SPF that I was using for years that came in a convenient pump bottle. While this product does the same job, it is a thicker application. Thankfully it absorbs in fine so at least it doesn't feel thick. I really miss the pump bottle dispenser though which was so much more convenient for application and a lot lighter for gym/travel/flight use. Now this jar just gets left at home a lot which is not ideal.
I used to love this product and have used it for years. I've just run out and replaced it only to find it's a new formula which isn't a patch on the old one. It used to be light, non-greasy and absorb quickly without leaving a film on my skin, the new formula is the complete opposite. It has also left my skin itchy and uncomfortable, I can still feel it on my skin even though I applied it 7 hours ago, I just want to wash it off. It's a shadow of the former product, try a new one if you're a fan of the old formula, don't waste your money buying this.
I have used multi active daily for years, and assumed the new version would be almost identicle just with different smell, but it it is thicker and slimy on my skin. Very disappointed the spf has gone down from 20-15 aswell. I will not be buying this again, and sadly after many years I will need to find a different product. If you have nothing to compare it to, it is probably fine if you prefer a heavy cream.
