Clarins SOS Primer 30ml

Oh man, I don’t even know where to start! This is the BEST primer I’ve ever put on my face! It’s formulated to blur pores, illuminate skin, hold makeup, and correct color. It also has a cooling texture to it and is a breathable primer, unlike other brands. It does everything it claims and feels like butter during application, just without the greasy feeling afterward. I used it this morning and my jaw literally dropped when I saw results. The only thing I did was fill in my brows, add some light shadow, mascara, and swipe lip gloss across my lips, used two spritzes of my #MAC Prep+Prime Lavender setting spray, and out the door I went. Literally under 4 minutes in front of the mirror and felt like a million bucks! I purchased this primer from #Ulta for $39.00 when they were giving a 3pc GWP on Clarins. Is it worth $39.00? A hundred times, YES!!! I found one of my holy grail facial products! They offer different shades but I will be sticking with this one. #ClarinsSOSPrimer has become an instant staple in my daily routine. Don’t hesitate, get it and thank me later! As always with Clarins the packaging outer box is always colourful inside. The actual product packaging always has a QR code on it for assistance and guidance, which is always a great help. I purchased the peach sos Primer as I wanted not to just focus on my redness on my skin but the pores to see if there is a difference when I put my foundation on. I can tell just from putting the primer on my face on 1 side that there is a difference. It's very easy to apply I tired sponge, brush, fingers and it all seemed to come out the same texture. It dries relatively quickly with no smell to speak of and no stickiness. Yes as always Carins is dearer than some but also cheaper than alot. Creates a beautiful radiant finish to your skin

I have been using this product for over a month and my skin has taken on a beautiful and radiant glow. I receive lots of compliments as to how well and fresh my skin looks. The texture on application is weightless and feels fresh. It unifies and perfects my complexion creating an immediate radiant finish allowing a buildable foundation for my daily makeup routine with Clairns Nutri Lumiere Revive and Clairns Everlasting Youth Fluid Foundation creating a flawless translucent radiant finish to my complexion. I absolutely love it.

Excellent primer!

Definitely brightens my complexion, minimises blemishes / redness and blurs my pores for a smooth complexion.I have definitely noticed that my makeup is applying is much better and lasting so much longerI sometimes wear the primer now without makeup and thinks it looks great, giving a glow but minimising shine.This product is a great primer, only thing I wish is that it included a significantly good SPF to avoid layering so many products, would be amazing if this could be combined with SPF 50

Makes my skin glow

I recieved this as a sample in gwp and was thrilled with the results, so much so I broke my budget and went an purchased a full size one in store. It really does make your skin glow and even pores seemed minimised. Used as a primer, it keeps make up from going blotchy and uneven while adding a subtle shine, sparkle and dewy complexion. I don't normally leave the house without at least some make up on but I feel confident my normally dull skin just glows after using this product that I have the confidence to go out and show my unmade up face. This is quality and you truly get what you pay for.

Really doesn’t sit well on my skin.

I have bought a good amount of Clarins products over the years and loved each one. However, this is the only product I wouldn’t recommend and feel I wasted my money.I wanted it to cover slightly red patches on my skin before a foundation but It just doesn’t sit well on my skin, nor mix with my clarins foundation or other Clarins creams well.The texture feels lovely like other SOS products but It leaves green/whitish patches despite trying to blend in and then flakes off. I’ve tried it with so many other products and it just isn’t for me. I wouldn’t purchase this product again!

SOS Primet

I really love using this primer after my serum and moisturiser, before applying my foundation. I have the green one atm but bought the mauve/pink one previously which I did like better. This one is great too. It wasn’t available however when I wanted to order it so decided to try the green version. It’s definitely one of the nicer primers on the market. I find it makes my make up glide on easily and best of all stays on whilst keeping my skin looking hydrated from morning till night. I will buy this again and again as it really is a great addition to my skincare and makeup ritual in the mornings. The best thing for me is having a hydrated, glowing skin and makeup that lasts. I highly recommend.

Used to be great

I've been using the green primer for a couple of years. It used to be great - it covered my redness without being too heavy or greasy. Now the formula has changed and I can't wear it anymore. The fragrance is now overpoweringly sickly and sweet and if I use it in the morning, I can smell it for the entire day. Presumably because the fragrance has changed, it now makes my skin break out and it feels greasier. I had to rewash my face mid-morning to get rid of it. I'm pretty angry that I've wasted a lot of money on two new tubes, not realising the formula had changed, which I now can't use.

Very Sad !

I'm absolutely gutted to read these reviews that my favourite feel good product has been changed (most reviewers say, for the worse!) Not an easy to use measure nozzle?! No barely there gentle smell?! I'm absolutely devastated. This was one of my few feel good treats - helped me during and after the menopause, after surgery, after my 60th. It truly enhanced, brightened and refreshed my fatigued face. I'm not going to order it now as my pension won't cope with throwing good money after bad. I'll eke out my half-full tube whilst I look for something else. Such a terrible shame.

Why have you changed this product!!

I’ve been using the peach primer for a long time. It was fabulous and gave a lovely light coverage to my (pretty good) older skin and its few age spots and uneven colour. My most recent purchase is different and not for the better. It’s thicker so less light coverage and a bit stickier in consistency. The pump dispenser has gone and now you just squeeze it out. This smacks of dumbing down on costs and stealing some of the best aspects of this product to save money. Why else change something that people raved about. Clarins, just be careful, I’ve been using your products for over 40 years and I’m wary of these changes that seem to happen without warning. I am now looking at other companies to see what they offer. Also, some products have simply disappeared!!
