The Super Restorative Day Cream uses organic harungana extract which has the same effect as retinol by promoting collagen and preventing sagging by lifting the skin. This day cream is a good base and is perfect to use under makeup sunscreen as it layers well. It is super hydrating without causing excess oil in my t-zone but has a stronger fragrance than I am used to. I haven’t been using this cream for long, but I can already see and feel that my skin is softer and plumper than it was before. In addition, it decreased the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, improved my skin tone and my skin appeared brighter and more radiant. I am really impressed how silky smooth and youthful my skin became after using.

First impression, the texture of the day cream is thicker than the night cream, light scent, easy to absorb into the skin, didn’t leave any greasy behind. I have been using this day cream for the last few days, it kept my skin moisture and soft for the entire day and didn’t break out my acne prone skin. The price point is a bit high for someone is on budget, $134 for 50ml jar. Overall it’s a great day cream for cold weather.

I tried the Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream for over a week. The cream’s texture is rich and luxurious yet light enough to absorb easily leaving my skin. It is perfect to use under any makeup and keeps your skin moisturized throughout the day and especially during the cold and dry winter months. As per its promises, the cream leaves my skin feeling and looking hydrated, soft and supple with a noticeable reduction in fine lines and wrinkles after a few days of use. The cream has a pleasant and light floral fragrance which is not overwhelming. I definitely recommend this cream to mature, middle aged women.

All Around Amazing Product

For months, I have used samples of this product on my neck. I loved the scent and texture, but I never used it on my face. Why not on my face? Well I had been under the impression that oily to combination skin did not need to use a day and night moisturizer. So I started using the Lotus oil at night to combat thy shine, I started to notice dryness around my nose and a deep line just above the corner of my lip. This discovery prompted me to research moisturizing oily to combination skin. That led me to this product and WOW! The line is gone, my face is not as oily in the morning. My skin glows during the day, and it only takes a small amount of the product. This is a simply fabulous product. I am using both the day and night.

Love Super Restorative Day Cream w/SPF 20!!!

I love the Super Restorative Day with SPF20. It is much better than the one without the SPF or the SR Night cream. I'm very sensitive re: smells of products, and this one is the best (tried night cream, more than once and the scent drove me crazy). The SR Day Cream w/SSPF moisturizes my dry skin, and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. I use in in the morning, bf applying my make up, and prior to going to bed, at night. I also use the Super Restorative Eye Lift, which I also like very much. I am not good with the new vacuum despenser. It's hard to get the eye cream out. I believe Clarins is aware of this complaint and hopefully improvement will be made.

I bought this when Ulta had a sale and fell in love! The texture is creamy, smells so nice, absorbs great and improves the texture of my skin. It doesn't make me look too oily throughout the day and layers perfectly with my hourglass Primer and double wear foundation. Its too expensive but it has lasted so ridiculously long and I wear it so much that I will easily repurchase at full price but hopefully I will catch it on sale again.

Not for oily skin! Buy the original!!!

As another reviewer said, when I ordered this I was in a hurry and didn't notice this was different than the original. It is VERY different from the original. I didn't even know there was a different version, this should have different packaging! I have oily skin. I also hate the smell of suntan lotion. Well, this is greasy and smells like suntan lotion. It doesn't have that lovely floral smell of the original. It's also very oily/greasy, and doesn't absorb into the skin, it stays streaky and white (just like suntan lotion!) I will be more careful when purchasing next time. LOVE the original, this is completely different! Do not buy if you have oily skin, you will break out!
