One of the best Clarks shoe I’ve owned. My family only bought Clarks shoes. The best thing about Clarks’ is doesn’t matter that’s your first or your last time wearing it, it is so comfy. The Wallabe is no different, simply the best. Classy and can be dressed up and down w your outfit. Got it once and can’t stop buying it.

I have owned a pair of wallabees for over 10 years. They are the best shoes I own. They have stood up to walking around a college campus and now being a teacher. They still look great and they still feel great. I ordered myself a pair of black suede wallabees for Christmas and was so terribly disappointed. The insert in the shoe only goes half way. The insert stops at the arch. The toe portion of the shoe is just raw material with stitching that you can feel in your toes. I am so upset that this product has gone to cheap manufacturing. I was greatly looking forward to a new pair of shoes to wear to work and now I have to shop elsewhere. I think Clark has shown how they feel about the customer. They are charging a premium price for an inferior product.

Very comfortable, practical and stylish shoe. I have been wearing them every day for work and I couldn't be happier. My eyes love them and my feet love them even more

This is my second pair. There have been slight alterations to toe shape which is now slightly rounder, less square, which is more pleasing..thank you Clark’s.Also there is a second pair of orange laces, which is a nice touch, but this is not even shown on the website. I wish Clark’s had more comfy stylish shoes like these with wider toes.
My first Wallabee purchase was in 1974, since then I always have several pairs on the go. Originally they were made in Ireland, but with moving to lower cost suppliers quality has suffered. The laces used to outlast the shoe while still looking brand new - I think they were nylon or similar. Now laces last some months. The inside of the tongue used to be finished leather, I think double layer. The final thing has been the loss of the full insole. The previous insole was a good quality comfortable insole, whereas we now have a molded heel & instep ½ length glued in poor substitute. This is a particular issue if you wear orthotics. The Wallabee boots fit differently at the ankle from the shoes, so are not a substitute for shoe aficionados. I keep buying because 1) Suede available 2) the height & room in the toe/forefoot area.NB wonderful walking shoes.
Lovely looking shoes and plenty wide enough for my wide, high instep feet. Sadly the part where the heel portion is attached to the foot leaves a pronounced ridge inside the shoe right underneath the arch of the foot which was very uncomfortable. Unhappily sent them back.
This is the second time I’m buying this shoes and I’m experiencing the same problem. On the first pair, the suede broke around the sole. And on the second one, which I own now, it became loose.Plus, the sole loses colour and it becomes yellow.Well… I’m done with Clarks.I must say, the prices are way too high for the quality you’re getting.
I bought this couple weeks ago and it’s a dream come true. I’ve always wanted a pair of full black suede wallabees. They fit perfect and the suede is soft and attractive. I am Jamaican and seeing that clarks is a popular shoe in my country (proof of this is seen by popular songs about clarks by dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel & recently Jahvillani-Clarks pon foot) this product compliments me. Can’t wait to show off to my friends. Definitely will purchase more in the future.
I was worried because on the photos it appears that the sole isn’t completely black and some of the lighter colour of the sole is seeping up on to the black sole, but, that isn’t the case. The shoes are totally black.I bought them for my sister’s wedding as I wanted something comfortable, and they are super comfortable. The suede is soft and the black stitching around the joint is very neat. The tread has thin pattering for grip Which isn’t visible from the side, the sole has no cushioning inside the shoe and is quite hard but this does not deter from their comfort. All around very pleased, just deciding which colour to get next!
I bought these on a shopping trip with my Mum as I was in need of a black pair of shoes. These caught my eye and although costing more than I intended to spend I thought I'd try them on anyway. As soon as I put them on I could feel how soft the leather was and how cushioned they were. The extra benefit of giving my 5ft 3" frame a bit more height. These are super smart and make my large feet look almost dainty. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a light weight but durable shoe. Especially good for those that struggle to wear shoes in as I do because I haven't needed to.
