Clase Azul is produced at the Productos Finos de Agave at Nom 1416, situated in the Jesus Maria region of Arandas in Los Altos Highlands region of Mexico. Over one hundred Mexican artisans go to work meticulously handcrafting each bottle. Clase Azul tequilas are made from 100% from organic Tequilana Weber Blue Agaves. Chosen from approximately 200 breeds of agave, this particular species is the only one that produces tequila. Once the agave is harvested, Clase Azul cooks them in old-fashioned brick ovens, a process which takes 72 hours. The cooked piñas are then crushed, after which a special brand of yeast is added. This liquid is allowed to ferment before the resultant spirit is meticulously twice-distilled with careful attention ensuring the highest quality spirit. This ultra-premium line of tequilas comes from the region of Jalisco, which imparts a unique flavor profile to the tequila. This bright reposado is silky smooth with a rich body and woody, fruity aromas and nuanced flavors of cooked agave, wood, vanilla, and caramel. Pick up your bottle today!

Everything shipped as described, very well packed and arrived early. I would definitely recommend Bourbon Central. As for the Tequila, the Plata is the cleanest. You can taste the Agave with no after taste, no burn, it's pure. The Reposado, is my favorite. There's no burn, slight agave taste, lots of sweet notes, maybe honey tasting, super smooth with just a warm sensation when sipping. It's awesome straight and not that I'm recommending it, but it got better on ice. The Gold much darker, lots of wood notes, oaky maybe, spicy but still no burn and smooth. I would recommend getting them all just to experience it. These are very hard to come by in Hawaii so for me to find a site that had it in stock and willing to ship here was a plus.

Ok my husband purchased this beautiful vase look Tequila for me for our 23rd Anniversary as I LOVE TEQUILA! Well he opened for me and we both took a shot and it is smooth and delicious! He’s not a drinker but he’s had 6 shots in 2 days so he really loves the gift he bought me lol. Please buy Clase Azul Tequila Reposado you will not regret it! It’s a huge vase with lots of Tequila in it and you can reuse it. We’re heading to Cancun in 2 weeks and I’ll be looking for this and others! Enjoy yours when you buy it!

The whole process was seamless. No issues with ordering or delivery. Would definitely use Molloys again. And, the tequila was incredible. I'm not a tequila drinker per say but this is in another league. Amazing. It wont be the last one I will be ordering! :)

Bad coffee tastes palatable when you put sugar in. Bad chocolate doesn't matter when you cover the taste with sugarThe same goes for bad tequila. You put sugar in anything band it "helps the medicine go down" because it doesn't taste like medicine anymore.Good tequila does not need sugar. You can get good tequila for way less than this. ...bells sold separately
I started drinking Clase Azul Reposado in about 2015. I’m retired from the wholesale liquor business. This tequila wasn’t in our market at that time. But in St Louis a small local retail chain of called The Wine & Cheese Place had it imported as an exclusive to their stores. It was far superior to any Tequila that I’ve ever had in the past. And at $89 a bottle it easily our favorite. We just moved and kept 4 of the hand painted original bottles with their signature Bell on top. We gave away the other 20. We’ve had the Anejo but still prefer the Reposado. Now it open distribution & that’s a price increase to about $150 & limited availability. Too bad
Yes the bottle is beautiful but lets just consider that an added bonus. It’s what’s inside the bottle that matters, and that is arguably imho one of, if not the best reposado tequila’s on the market!Take everything that you remember from drinking normal tequilas like Jose Cuervo back in your younger years and just toss it in the trash! This is next level tequila, truly a “sipping” tequila. Drink it neat, and when I say neat I’m not talking down a shot. Literally “sip it”, don’t even bother with an ice cube. No feeling like you just got a mouth full of liquid pepper and no burn. Just pure, unadulterated tequila excellence! Initial flavors of warm caramel and butterscotch with a custardy almost buttery mouth feel (sensation on the tongue). This slowly disputes and then different nuances of toasted agave start to emerge in the background, tickling the tongue like a ghostly whisper.Truly sublime and well worth the money! I would say the average person that has never had this would consider the taste to be closer to a rum than the typical traditional peppery, “burn your mouth” tequila most are used to. The most recent bottle I bought lasted about 15 minutes at our 4th of July BBQ and even people that normally do not like tequila we’re coming back for seconds! If you are on the fence do yourselves a favor and give it a try!!!
I really dig the artisanal design of the bottle it is an eye catcher for sure. Nonetheless, unless you are going to use the bottle as a $150 vase I would skip on this one. The juice inside is horrible full of artificial flavorings with a lubricant mouthfeel, I couldn’t taste the agave.I recommend to save your money and purchase an addictive free tequila, if you are looking for something sweet there are plenty of Reposado with Sauterne, French oak and whisky barrel aging that provide a natural sweetness. Or you can make that liqueur tequila based yourself for half the price. Buy an empty bottle of Clase Azul off EBay, an inexpensive bottle such as Arette, Cimarron or El Tequileno repo. I’ve travelled Mexico extensively over the past 22 years. I’ve travelled to the city of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico. I’ve done all the tequila tours and seen all the main sights, so I can tell you that tequila is an essential part of experiencing Mexico. Usually, when it comes to tequila, I’m an añejo guy. I like herradura and milagro. But if you haven’t ever tried Clase Azul Reposado, you haven’t truly lived. This is the one tequila that I could sip on all night long and the next day still feel like a million bucks. Long story short…worth every penny.
Never been much of a tequila person but in the few years I've developed a taste palate towards tequila. Clase Azul is an amazing tequila. Yes it's not cheap for the common working man but to sip and enjoy this tequila is a must. Such flavorful notes of oak, orange, vanilla and cinnamon with none of that tequila burn and strong aftertaste! Enjoy!!!
The taste is delicious. However I remember it being smoother. It now reminds me a lot of Casamigos Repo.Tequila was packaged wonderfully and arrived a bit earlier than expected. Nice surprise. Based on taste, I now (personally) find this tequila to be overpriced but I'm glad I purchased a bottle of my own. I've only ever had it in restaurants.I would definitely purchase other products from this company again.
