Clock completely stops working after less than six months. This was a Christmas present and she loved it. Now it’s dead. I thought the batteries had died and have tried two other pairs, even cleaned the contacts, made sure batteries were installed properly and nothing. Emailed seller and not a single response. Nothing. They have their money and now other reviewers are writing how the clock isn’t good. I remember these as a kid and those are still found and run. So this is either a crappy copy sold by a worse company, or a genuine clock that’s just junk.Provision Liberty Sales doesn’t care, they have their money. Can’t even be bothered to reply. Just pathetic.

The Kit-Cat Clock though made in the USA, and brand new is $60 and comes only with a 30-day warranty. I had mine for 3 years without problems, but when I moved though I packaged it in its original box jarred the soldered wires loose from the contact board. I tried to reconnect, but it wouldn't. I tried duct tape too, and tried to find a youtube video that shows how to fix that, but there aren't any. only for other simpler things. To fix it, I'd probably need to buy a soldering gun and solder wire, but by then I might as well buy a new clock. For a 30-day warranty on a $59 item, I'm holding off for now.

I buy a lot from VCS and have never had an issue but so not waste your money on this clock. A gift for my daughters first home that she is decorating vintage, it never worked. I emailed CS and wanted to return. They said that we needed it to not be flush on wall , we adjusted but it still didn’t work. I emailed again and never heard back. It’s cheap plastic and quite expensive. So this was money flushed down the toilet in my eyes and has changed my opinion on the store and their CS for loyal customers.

We bought a Kit-Cat Clock from Vermont Country Store and it quit working. They sent us another one. It worked fine for several years, but then it stopped working, too. (The clock still kept time, but the eyes and tail no longer move back and forth.) Such a disappointment.
One those things you remember during your youth in the Seventies that you're happy to see still lives today. Great classic but wish the co. would start producing larger versions. Maybe a 20" ?

A friend stopped by one day & some how the clock came up & I told her mine would never work. So she asked if she could try to get mine to work with no success. She went home & got her Kit Kat Clock & we compared the mechanisims & what do you know, mine was missing a piece on the inside. I sent a message to Vermont Country Store telling them this same story & asked if I could get the piece that was missing. Then I got a great surprise! First thing I will say is in regards to the negative to reviews. Anyone crying foul about this product and it’s size etc obviously did not bother to read the description and details. Yes, it is slightly small. But, the size is exactly specified in the description. It even specifically states that the product is made of plastic. These are not hidden or secret details. I was able to confidently order this product and know 100% exactly what I was going to receive. There is no hidden info or secrets.That said, the product looks absolutely wonderful! It is a nicely done replica of the original version and performs exactly the same as well. It's a very well made in America product with a long history so they must be doing something right! Very good instructions & I love all the positive statements on the box. I got this to gift a very cherished friend who loves cats. I remember seeing these when I was a kid. May have to get another for myself just for the whimsy!

I believe their KK Clock was electric and a hole was drilled into the backside of the dish cabinet, which separated the kitcyfrom the dining room.
