The "Classic NES Series: The Legend of Zelda" for the Game Boy Advance brings one of the most iconic and influential games of all time to the handheld platform. Originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1986, "The Legend of Zelda" revolutionized the action-adventure genre with its open-world exploration, intricate dungeons, and innovative gameplay mechanics. In this timeless adventure, players assume the role of Link, a courageous young hero on a quest to rescue Princess Zelda and thwart the evil plans of the villainous Ganon. Armed with a sword, shield, and various magical items, players must navigate through the vast land of Hyrule, exploring forests, deserts, mountains, and dungeons in search of keys, treasures, and powerful artifacts. The game's non-linear structure allows players to explore Hyrule at their own pace, uncovering secrets and solving puzzles along the way. From battling enemies and bosses to uncovering hidden passages and discovering legendary items like the Master Sword and Triforce pieces, "The Legend of Zelda" offers a rich and immersive gameplay experience that rewards exploration and ingenuity. The Game Boy Advance version of "The Legend of Zelda" faithfully recreates the original NES game, complete with its classic 8-bit graphics and memorable soundtrack. However, it also includes some quality-of-life improvements, such as a save feature that allows players to save their progress at any time, making it easier to pick up and play on the go. For fans of the series, "Classic NES Series: The Legend of Zelda" offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane, allowing them to relive the magic of the original game on a modern handheld console. And for newcomers, it provides an opportunity to experience the timeless adventure that laid the foundation for one of gaming's most beloved franchises.

While I admit this isn't the best Mario game, it is my favorite. "Why?", you might ask. For one thing, it gives us a break from the traditional "jump-on-the-enemies'-heads-and-succeed" gameplay. While jumping on something is probably a better way to defeat things then having to have to look around for something to throw at them (and I'm not the type who likes the idea that you have to depend on some form of item), but Super Mario Advance (which is conviently 2 games in one pack) keeps the veggies abundant and provides other ways to defeat enemies. You can pick them up and hurtle them. I will first describe the new-and-improved Super Mario Bros. 2, then I will describe the second game (which has also ben modified) the Mario Bros. arcade game.Super Mario Bros. 2 is ... MoreWhile I admit this isn't the best Mario game, it is my favorite. This is a noticeably better version of Super Mario Bros. 2, due to the giant vegetables and larger enemies (that supply hearts whenever you throw them or hit them with something). Though it is rare to find these giant creatures, I like them. The giant vegetables take out so many more enemies at a time, that I can't believe it.The game is creative in it's design, as each world is very rich and cartoonish, though I imagine it could be more of a dream. And it turns out that the whole game is a dream that Mario is having. However, there are only 3 designs and 7 worlds. The designs are, grass lands (sort of), deserts, and a castle. The grass lands I prefer, but I have a few favorites.

In 2001, Nintendo started their Super Mario Advance series with this title, an enhanced port of Super Mario Bros. 2 and released it on the Game Boy Advance. Basically, they enhanced the graphics and sounds, included an intro that was not shown on the original hit and included an enhanced port of the original Mario Bros. arcade game, which can be played separately. The PROS: Just like the original NES hit, Super Mario Advance is fun to play and a perfect fit for the GBA. The enhanced graphics and sounds are nice and the controls are spot on so it's very easy to get into. When you are done playing, you can check out the other game that is bundled, Mario Bros. When Nintendo re-released the original Super Mario Bros. as Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Game Boy, I was pretty excited. I had been longing to play that game again for years. My NES had long since died and that game was one of my all-time favorites. Now we get the original Super Mario Bros 2 for the Game Boy Advance. That is what Super Mario Advance actually is. If you never owned a NES and/or never played Super Mario Bros 2, you should definitely get this game. If you did play this game on the NES, you should still get it. Now, instead of playing through the game to beat the final boss and being done, there is actually replay value here. Every level has 5 red coins and 2 yoshi eggs hidden somewhere in the level that you have to find in order to completely beat the game. Is there a whole lot of incentive to actually do this? Not really, but it still adds another dimension to the game.I should also mention that these NES games work perfectly on the Game Boy Advance. The control works fine, the graphics of the Game Boy Advance are actually better than those of the NES. Hopefully Nintendo continues this trend and releases more of its original gmaes on the Game Boy Advance.

In 1988, when Nintendo was developing Super Mario Bros. 3, someone said "Oh my god! We forgot to make a Mario 2 for North America!"So they made one out of Japan-only game Doki Doki Panic. Just that this is in 32-Bit.This Game Boy Advance version is a great re-release of Mario 2. It featured lots of improvements over the original. First, notice the score system. Mario 2 never kept track of score, and neither did the Super Nintendo version (in Mario All-Stars). There are also new GIANT Pow Blocks and Shy Guys. Hearts now appear a lot more often. Of course, there are now voices. The biggest difference I know is the new Yoshi Challenge after you beat Wart for the first time. You have to go around all the levels of the game, looking for hidden Yoshi eggs (Don't worry, you can select the levels). Get all 40 and then you beat the whole game. The eggs, though, are hidden in the Subspace (Where you find the mushrooms), and they are not beside the mushrooms. The Yoshi Challenge made the game's replay value go up hi.

Super Mario Advance is a fun, yet challenging game. It took all the charm from the original, and made it look and sound 10x better. Gotta ... MoreSuper Mario Advance is a fun, yet challenging game. It took all the charm from the original, and made it look and sound 10x better. Although most of the art and assets are ripped straight from Super Mario: All Stars, I still think this a competent recreation of a classic game, that I love to this day. While this isn't my favorite game in the Mario series, it's still a welcome addition to my GBA collection!Super Mario Advance adds features that weren't in the NES, or All Stars versions of Mario 2, at the end of the game, you can go back through any level and find all the ace-coins you missed along the way. Finding all the ace-coins in a level grants you a 1-up. Next is the Yoshi egg challenge, where you have to run around the levels to find 2 hidden Yoshi eggs. Gotta say, some of them are hard to find. But its certainly a welcome change from the Original.Overall, I recommend this game to anyone who wants to either get into Mario, or just wants another game for their GBA, I'd recommend getting this game instead of the Original or Super Nintendo versions, because this game has a save feature and unlimited continues, so no matter if you get a game over, it just starts you up at the beginning of the level. So for those who want a more fun and laid back experience, you can buy the GBA cartridge, or alternatively, if you don't own a GBA, you can purchase this game off the Wii U Virtual Console for about 8 bucks. Thanks for reading!

Of Course You allways need a Mario. This was the first game i got i played it at the store before i had mg GBA and i Was like wow. I bought it and that night i was about 25 percent done with the superMario part. In this Mario there is the regular game and a arcade mode where you get coins and kill stuff not much fun so this is all i am going to talk about it. Super Mario Advance is fun and it is nice to chosse between the four charaters Lugie Peach Toad And the classic Mario. The bosses at the end of each level are very easy to beat i barly ever die and have to start over. this game would be great for you if you play it a little each day and its not the only game have so you don't log millions of hours on it. But if you're a die hard gamer like me and play for hours ... MoreOf Course You allways need a Mario. This was the first game i got i played it at the store before i had mg GBA and i Was like wow.
